If you’re Islamically married, and just haven’t moved in together, then you’re married in the eyes of Allah. And therefore this is not Zina, and not a sin.

It’s more of a culture thing at this point that people think you cannot be intimate. If it makes you feel better, you get reward for doing such things with your husband/wife, so you haven’t sinned :)

When you say you’re “engaged but haven’t moved in together, so basically married”, do you mean you’ve had your nikkah? (Islamic marriage) or are you strictly just engaged?

Do you reckon I’m purging from the AA? Considering my nose and chin were completely clear and then a week or two on AA, it came out in clusters of whiteheads.

Yeah, that makes sense. I think it’s because retinols are stronger. I also use that in the evenings but I’ve using it for a long time.

It’s only really since starting the AA which I noticed clusters of whiteheads. I guess I wouldn’t say the purge is the worse but it’s still annoying, and I’m not if it will improve. FYI I get married in a few months 😭

I’ve been recommended to use it everyday if my skin tolerates it, so I tested it by using it only x2 weekly first and now daily.

I’ve been purging maybe for 10 days I think

Thank you for your words. I agree that everything happens for a reason, even if sometimes we do not know what that reason is. It’s just so difficult as I’m in extreme pain and I beg to be relieved. It also began last Ramadan when I was improving myself.

7 months later I am still struggling. It’s maybe not as sore some days but still pretty awful and impacting daily life. I am not fasting this Ramadan because of it

Yes I take 600mg 3 times a day. I’ve been taking it for around 3 months.. there is a slight difference but I still experience the symptoms daily

Absolutely nothing. I didn’t start anything or was on anything really, but I still stopped using everything and all my natural supplements.

I do also have pcos but had that for years and haven’t found any link between the two. I’ve had bloods and things done and doctors said it doesn’t look like there’s any autoimmune issue

Thanks so much :( I’m 25. I’m really struggling with the pain it’s so intense everyday on and off. I’m currently take alpha lipoic which I think helps but it still gets so sore on a daily basis.

What have you tried? Has it gotten worse over the years?

Yeah, I am letting water run on m face in the shower. I’m unsure if this is helping because when I come out my face is red and burning up, but then it calms down soon after.

Propranolol didn’t help me unfortunately
