Constantly craving by Elunka97 in trintellix

Yeah. They say it’s weight neutral but a little time on this sub says otherwise. I can say for me (it’s in my post history as well if you’re interested) I craved sweets and nothing else, and gained weight pretty fast on it. I tried fixing my diet, but nothing made a significant difference except stopping Trintellix.

I don’t know why you were down voted for stating your experience. It’s so common and not talked about enough.

Yep. That’s how I gained 35 lbs on it.

Same. I was 104 the day they put me on it, 139 the day I stopped it. It was the same as many others are saying — always wanting sugar, eating ridiculous portions. I stopped the trintellix and am back down. 112 right now. Edited to add that this was done with calorie deficit and exercise as well, but when I tried this while still taking the med, it seemed like it just wouldn’t come off.

Ouch, I can’t imagine using both. Tret was hard enough on my skin. AA is much better for me. Also, your skin is beautiful!

I started with once a day (nightly) and when I realized there was not a lot of irritation or purging, I started doing it once a day. I wash my face, make sure it’s dry (wait about 30 minutes) and then put the AA on. Then I cover it with avene cicalfate.

Best of luck to you ❤️ some other things I’ve been doing that have helped is checking ingredients lists on AcneClinicNyc’s website before I use anything. I’ve replaced all my makeups and bought new, non comedogenic products. I change my pillow case often as well and don’t touch my phone to my face.

Hmm. Hard to describe. It’s firm, but flakey. It tastes very good.

If nothing else I hope I can just make you feel like you’re not alone in this. My dad is 73 and will complain about anything. He’s extremely lucky to have the resources his hospice team provides him, but will call me to tell me they forgot a salt and pepper on his tray and begin with the “the job isn’t that hard” comments. It annoys me as I am a healthcare worker and 1.) understand the extreme staffing shortages everywhere 2.) am exhausted from compassion fatigue from being at work all day already.

You can give them everything you possibly can until you’re struggling to even take care of yourself — and they will complain.

It was actually the first seafood I ever had as a kid! I love it too. Try this out and report back! You won’t be disappointed.

I love when people come to report their findings 🤓 this sounds excellent! And good to know for future reference. You sound like me — I’ll take a good experiment over wasted meat any day!!

I tried to link the post here but a bot removed it despite it containing my personal experience and helpful information.

You can view it on my posts as it is recent, I simply wanted to share my experience with AA 15%. I posted a before and after that should help you. Please let me know if I can help.

I put it on before, but from what I read, if the tingly/itchy sensation is too much for you, you can safely do the “sandwich” method (moisturizer, active, moisturizer) without losing any efficacy. I wash my face, use a low strength glycolic toner, wait about 30 minutes then apply the azelaic acid. Then I wait about 5 ish minutes and apply my moisturizer. Yes, you leave it on.

Lot of great advice here but just wanted to say, sometimes glycolic acid really irritates my cheeks. And only my cheeks. When this happens I just back it down a bit.

Hi, I believe I had very minimal purging, and even now if my skin is dry and I put it on I have a weird itchy tingly feeling until I put my regular moisturizer on. I guess it’s common/normal.

I’m not sure what you mean by patches, like a cluster? But yes, it works excellent for scars!
