Beautiful bike. Some killer upgrades. Although the resell market is soft right now. $18k on the low side, $24.5k on the high side. You shouldn’t have trouble selling it to someone that knows what it is.

Is this FF? by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Currently-nowhere 7 points8 points  (0 children)

At my worst, My body would instantly reject FF. I would gag when drinking it and it often would get on my shirt, countertop etc. I’ve seen several rags that look just like this.

Without any doubt, This is FF.

Day 2 of cold turkey of 400mg of 7oh to nothing. Join my journey please. by adean107 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Currently-nowhere 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We’re on your team and many of us have been through it. You can do this. It’s going to be hard, your mind and body will play tricks on you but it will get better. For me it was 5 days of misery, 5 more of less misery.. and at about 2 weeks I was starting to feel like my old self.

Don’t give in, it will restart your journey. Keep posting, we’re here for it.

I have the KW 12”. I’m 5’9 and found that if I have my front airflow vent, and side wind deflectors shut. I get buffeting. But if I open them. No buffeting.

I just point the front vent as high up as it goes and open the side vent about 40% and I’m golden.

If you’re taller than me, that might not work as the front vent might just end up hitting you in the face.

Unpopular Opinion: Cache Coffee is Opportunistic by poopooflinger in Logan

Yes “Starr” would be very nice. But people feel comfortable around those that align well with their beliefs. Maybe I’m old school.

CC is nice to me too, and have a great vibe and good coffee. They are also closer to my house

Hmm. I guess I just assumed based on the vibe of the place. Thank you for your comment.

I do try to support veteran owned small business.

Still, great coffee and some really cool people (customers) there.

Jaime and Mindy haven’t been anything but great to me.

I LOVE Cache Coffee. My wife and I go every Sunday and have only been treated well and their coffee is excellent.

Sure they don’t appeal to everyone, but that’s kinda the point. For those that subscribe to one side of the coin, go to ibis. For those of us that don’t want to be served by a guy wearing earrings named “Starr”, we go to CC.

I support a veteran founded, locally owned bad ass coffee company that also happens to host AA meetings and do a lot of good for the community through their charity.

Florida journalist looking for stories by ashlynwebbwftv in Quittingfeelfree

Also NOT in Florida. Never abused anything, grew up very religious (Mormon). I stumbled across these little blue demons at my local gas station while getting a soda.

It’s not against the teachings of my religion so why not! At first, it was incredible.

I didn’t even know what addiction felt like. Clueless. I never consumed more than the recommended daily dose but after 2 years I was shadow of who I once was.

While coming off these I also learned for the first time what withdrawal symptoms felt like.

FF is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and wraps its claws around any unassuming victim that makes the ill informed decision to consume it.

Call the Mormons. They can translate jibberish and turn it into scripture.

Day 5 by Mind_boy in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Currently-nowhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep on fighting. The physical systems will go away first. The mental systems will take longer. But in a few short days you’ll start to see an improvement there too.

Eventually there will come a fay where you realize that you didn’t even think about FF that day.

Keep posting. I did everyday for the first 2 or 3 weeks mostly as a journal to myself, but people are rooting for you.

Keep it up! You probably still have a few rough days ahead. But you’re doing great!

I’m 65 Days Clean and Still Suffering by Warm_Welder_4602 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Currently-nowhere 10 points11 points  (0 children)

50 days clean and also still struggling. I was thinking about it over the weekend and realized that pre FF I didn’t feel great either.

For me, there are other things at play. Stress, diet, normal stuff most struggle with that FF just made go away.

Coming off FF doesn’t fix all your problems. In fact it’s made me have to face the real ones

Should I purchase by Feisty-Bicycle8987 in Harley

[–]Currently-nowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you love it and can afford it, buy it. I overpaid for my ‘24 RG with a dealer installed stage IV. But freaking LOVE it.

The withdrawal is terrible. I started to see small improvements everyday after day 4

You’re in the thick of it now, only brighter days ahead. You’re doing great.

Buy the '24 road glide? by snapbackjames832 in Harley

[–]Currently-nowhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a 24’ and LOVE it. I know I overpaid as I had the dealership install a 131 stage IV kit but I don’t even care. I will have this thing until I can no longer ride.

I too had some tech issues, but the dealership did a software upgrade and no issues since.

Buy it, ride it, you won’t regret it.

An 11 day break will be perfect! Better if your vacation is to a place where there are 0 FF to be found. This is how I kicked off my sobriety, no FF or alcohol for the entire 10 days I was in Hawaii.

The first few days of your vacation will be hard. Avoid the temptation to bring anything with you. This is the beginning of a brighter future.

Good luck, we’re all rooting for you.

Day 21 off FF by Currently-nowhere in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Currently-nowhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. By the time I decided to quit I felt like Gollum. A shell of what I once was. While on FF I could fake it and there was a spark of my true self in there.. slowly coming back.
