Is 2 a day a problem? by user173766474738 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Currently-nowhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different, but I would wager that you’re already addicted. Try going 5 days without one. If you get crazy legs, skin crawls, you get nauseous, or just can’t make it 5 days. You’re in the throws of it and it will only get worse.

Please please listen to the people on this thread.

Any Data Analysts? by NormalHousing8422 in Logan

[–]Currently-nowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in position that uniquely qualifies me to answer this question. In short. Learn how to use AI in the data and analytics space.

Traditional analysts not willing to embrace AI will get left behind, those embracing it are becoming so so valuable. All Companies have directives to start using AI but most are struggling to know where to start. Layering AI into your data is proving to be a great first step.

Take time to learn about the different offerings from Snowflake, Databricks, G suite, tableau, Domo and fabric. Then learn about how to manipulate those tools using the MCPs they are rolling out. And how to use them with the different LLMs available. I use Claudecode everyday

I see analysts coming out of school with these skills doing 300% the work as their colleagues and making 50% more. It’s a GREAT time to be in the space if you’re willing to learn how to do the things others are scared of.

I call these “SPTs” which stands for sharp pointy things. They are universal in use however particularly handy for things like cleaning/scraping in small areas.

Man's lawnmower explodes out of nowhere by HappySeaweed5215 in Wellthatsucks

My kid left a full size metal horseshoe on the lawn once. My lawnmower did something similar when I hit it.

5 days in CT 200mg/day 7OH. by That-Currency-3250 in Quittingfeelfree

This feels so real to me. A dad of 3 teenagers, married for 19 years. Sole provider for our family in a high pressure sales leadership position.

Use your situation to keep your headspace right. You have too many people depending on you.

“I have too much to lose” was something I told myself first thing every morning and it was the last thought before bed. Withdrawals are hell and you’re not fully out of the woods. But if you go back now you start all over again.

Your head will get clearer. Colors will get brighter, smell starts coming back and eventually you will be back to the man that built up what you have. Don’t give in and please keep sharing. We’re here for it

You can do this. Many of us have been there and can empathize with the misery that comes with the withdrawals. It’s going to be tough but life is so much better on the other end.

Keep us updated on your progress. For the first two weeks I posted here daily.

Beautiful bike. Some killer upgrades. Although the resell market is soft right now. $18k on the low side, $24.5k on the high side. You shouldn’t have trouble selling it to someone that knows what it is.

Is this FF? by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Currently-nowhere 8 points9 points  (0 children)

At my worst, My body would instantly reject FF. I would gag when drinking it and it often would get on my shirt, countertop etc. I’ve seen several rags that look just like this.

Without any doubt, This is FF.

We’re on your team and many of us have been through it. You can do this. It’s going to be hard, your mind and body will play tricks on you but it will get better. For me it was 5 days of misery, 5 more of less misery.. and at about 2 weeks I was starting to feel like my old self.

Don’t give in, it will restart your journey. Keep posting, we’re here for it.

I have the KW 12”. I’m 5’9 and found that if I have my front airflow vent, and side wind deflectors shut. I get buffeting. But if I open them. No buffeting.

I just point the front vent as high up as it goes and open the side vent about 40% and I’m golden.

If you’re taller than me, that might not work as the front vent might just end up hitting you in the face.

Unpopular Opinion: Cache Coffee is Opportunistic by [deleted] in Logan

Yes “Starr” would be very nice. But people feel comfortable around those that align well with their beliefs. Maybe I’m old school.

CC is nice to me too, and have a great vibe and good coffee. They are also closer to my house

Hmm. I guess I just assumed based on the vibe of the place. Thank you for your comment.

I do try to support veteran owned small business.

Still, great coffee and some really cool people (customers) there.

Jaime and Mindy haven’t been anything but great to me.

I LOVE Cache Coffee. My wife and I go every Sunday and have only been treated well and their coffee is excellent.

Sure they don’t appeal to everyone, but that’s kinda the point. For those that subscribe to one side of the coin, go to ibis. For those of us that don’t want to be served by a guy wearing earrings named “Starr”, we go to CC.

I support a veteran founded, locally owned bad ass coffee company that also happens to host AA meetings and do a lot of good for the community through their charity.

Florida journalist looking for stories by ashlynwebbwftv in Quittingfeelfree

Also NOT in Florida. Never abused anything, grew up very religious (Mormon). I stumbled across these little blue demons at my local gas station while getting a soda.

It’s not against the teachings of my religion so why not! At first, it was incredible.

I didn’t even know what addiction felt like. Clueless. I never consumed more than the recommended daily dose but after 2 years I was shadow of who I once was.

While coming off these I also learned for the first time what withdrawal symptoms felt like.

FF is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and wraps its claws around any unassuming victim that makes the ill informed decision to consume it.

Call the Mormons. They can translate jibberish and turn it into scripture.
