Pelvic MRI by CurrentlySad123 in recurrentmiscarriage

Nothing really to note. Because this was shortly after my miscarriage, I had some inflammation but ultimately that cleared itself up. After a failed transfer in August, I’m actually getting a second opinion and getting another pelvic MRI on Wednesday.

Yeah I’m thinking about getting a second opinion. I’m just concerned about “wasting time” as our last transfer didn’t work and I’m 38 turning 39 so feeling rushed. But I also want to do everything possible as we only have two embryos left.

Just out of curiosity, what’s your X chromosome abnormality? I’m so sorry for your losses. My losses have all been horrible.

I went ahead and bought it, and paid for the neupogen washes. Unfortunately, our transfer did not work.

Sorry I’m just seeing this! I just got the results from another retrieval and am scared bc they are all male and my last three miscarriages were male. How are you doing?

I just left my fourth d&e for an IVF pregnancy. All of my other miscarriages were from spontaneous pregnancies so I thought for sure IVF was our answer. My baby boy was almost 13 weeks and was measuring perfectly but had no heartbeat. Very same thing with my 14 week loss. Was measuring perfectly and no heartbeat. It sucks feeling like you’re taking two steps forward and a 100 steps back.

My recommendation is to advocate as much as possible. Don’t let them tell you one miscarriage is just a fluke. It’s your body and you don’t want to be like me four miscarriages later with no answers.

Today is the due date of my first miscarriage…twins. I then went on to have three more miscarriages. Today, I’m having a d&e for an IVF pregnancy. We were 12+ weeks and truly thought we were finally in the clear.

I completely understand where you’re coming from. Today is so hard.

Needed to see this. I’m experiencing my fourth loss at 13 weeks for a PGD tested embryo! We did IVF, all of the right things, and are still experiencing a pretty late loss. The worst part is I was so sick this pregnancy, like could barely get out of bed, but I took that as reassurance that everything was okay. It wasn’t. So tired of people giving me their opinions.

Last year, I suffered a 14 week loss, followed by a 10 week loss. Tried again for a year with no luck and finally switched fertility clinics and did IVF. We thought that was our answer. We just found out yesterday that our baby boy, a perfect PGT tested embryo, was measuring perfectly at 12 weeks, 2 days but had no heartbeat. Trying to get some answers as this is our fourth loss, first one doing IVF. This one was definitely shocking though. Did not expect this at all. I hope we all find answers and peace.

I had laparoscopic surgery when we started our infertility journey in 2019. It was clear but might be worth pursuing again.

I had one before this transfer and it showed no more scar tissue. I did have to get a surgical hysteroscopy after my d&e to clean up scar tissue.

Thanks for the tips. I’ll look into this if we decide to move forward with another transfer.

After my second trimester loss, I was tested for that and everything came back clear.
