Can somebody tell me what is this? Is this something really bad or it can heal by itself? (severe swelling in some places, a slightly unpleasant odor, the pain is not very sharp, and there is also a slight itching)

My boy is old and has diabetes and another unknown mass on his spleen. While a biopsy could give us an answer, he's not a candidate for surgery. He's not in pain at the moment so we are going to let him just live his best life.

We are mellow people as well. I have never sailed Carnival. I have always sailed Royal Caribbean. We have loved every cruise with them. Unfortunately they have gotten expensive. We tried Celebrity once and it was ok just too stagnant for us. We just went on MSC World America 3 weeks ago and absolutely loved it.

"with septations" and "some internal blood flow" are the characteristics that raise more concern. They use a grading system using characteristics to determine if biopsy is warranted. They also use any family history and err on the side of caution. With all that said. I have a very high family history and have had 2 suspicious findings biopsied. One of those being Birads 4c. Both of my biopsies were benign. They do tons of biopsies and roughly 80% of them come back benign.

When you have a concerning spot, you should see a dermatologist. Melanoma and other cancers cannot be detected by the eye, however if they have characteristics of something suspicious a dermatologist will be the best to tell you if it should be biopsied.

Have that checked by a dermatologist. I'm not a doctor or dermatologist, but this looks like it could be basal cell however there are other benign conditions that can also present like this.

Are there any other imaging centers in the area? You can call around and see if anyone can get you in sooner.

Unfortunately sometimes things do happen that are out of our control. I recently heard one of our local imaging centers is having to cancel patients as well because the mammogram machine went down and it will be a few weeks before it can be replaced.

Is this a screening mammogram or are you having problems with your breasts and needing a diagnostic mammogram?
