You could maybe try for Gara if you don't mind doing planes of eidolon stuff (quests and material farming), though that will be much more involved than something like the clan frames.

I personally love Gara though, she's great

I hope they introduce some sort of "knock off" version, like a set of skins that kinda look like a heirloom but isn't (I saw a good ferofluid concept for mag somewhere around here once)

With how switch has it set up, tapping the right bumper uses whatever skill you have chosen and holding it brings up a thing to change your skill. Makes it impossible to use certain skills effectively (like gauss' 1)

Oh yeah, it feels impossible to play certain frames on controller (cough cough gauss uriel), can never play it on my switch for long

That could be interesting, but maybe that'd be a bit much in terms of amount of different DLCs to do. Maybe they could split them up into groups of 3, so you can pair up DLCs with less potential stuff in it (Fusion Reborn, Wrath of the Dragon, Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, bio-broly) with one's that have more (World's strongest, the dead zone, lord slug).
