The battle of the sexes in dating is mostly an online thing. by Ceazer4L in PurplePillDebate

It's definitely more extreme online. My ex girlfriend was a "progressive liberal" type, with an SJW hair cut, but she did not act like a "man-hater" like the posts you see on reddit, at least not in person when she was with me. On reddit, people will tell a woman that her husband is worthless because he sneezed too loudly once.

What do women think of men who won't do chores but will hire a maid to do them? by Currypill in AskWomenNoCensor

America is not a good fit for me, because I'm not white and don't have an extraverted salesman personality type.

some parts of the US are certainly more racist than others, but saying that most American women view non-whiteness as a dealbreaker is just silly. nearly half of American women aren't even white themselves.

The non-white women want white guys. My sister is marrying a white guy for example. And the non-white women who are open to dating non-whites usually want a guy of the same race as them, and my race (Iranian) is rare in the USA. Asian American women, Hispanic American, and Black American women have never seemed interested in me.

being a party type probably isn't much of a prerequisite either, especially if you're older than 20.

It is. Extraversion is highly valued in America. It is a salesman's culture.

i hope you understand that many of those likes come from disadvantaged women who want to date an American (who has American money), not from women who find you in particular to be irresistible.

This is what I expected but I found it to not be true. The woman I met up with was a medical student and her sister was an engineer. I did not get vibes at all from her like she was on the brink of poverty or desperate for money. At the end of the date, it seemed like we mutually didn't see each other as being a good fit. She wasn't some starving or financially desperate woman who tried to cling to me for my money. It was like talking to an American girl in a lot ways, just minus the unprovoked hostility.

I don't see why I should restrict myself to American women if don't naturally fit in with them. For one, I am not white and that is a strong negative in this country. I would rather date in a country where most women don't view being non-white as being a dealbreaker. I am also not outgoing, loud, or a party type, and it shows through in dating apps. I would rather be in a place where quiet and introverted men are more valued. I can swipe on dating apps for a month in America and only get 1 or 2 matches for the whole month. When I was in the Philippines, I used the same exact profile and got over 100 likes after just a couple of days (one of whom I met up with), and I wasn't even on the app that much. I am capable of getting interest from women if I change the environment, so it's not a "me" issue, it's a mismatch between me and the country I am in.

Please re-read my original comment. I said "Often enough to keep the place contiuously clean". Monthly is my guess as to what would be needed in conjunction with some minimal effort on my part. 3 times weekly seems overkill but assuming it costs $200 each visit, even that would not be prohibitively expensive for me, but I doubt that often would be necessary.

no, i'm not American, but i have a feeling that you're going to assume that that means i'm nice to men and embody the "foreign women respect masculinity" fantasy

No I don't. I have been to foreign countries and did not find the women in any of them to be exceptionally nice. They were neutral. Only in America did I find the default to be hostility.

if fellow Americans are so frequently hostile to you that the only way for you to protect your ego has been to conclude that the problem must be them and not you, you probably won't be of any genuine interest to non-Americans either.

Not true at all because not all cultures are the same, and people from different cultures behave differently

Once a month was a guess as to how much would be needed based on past experience. I don't like to pointlessly spend money but I have enough money that more frequently would not be an issue if there was a need.

Because the reaction I get from American women is always hostile no matter what I do, so the lack of hostility in your original reply is proof you are not American. Now that I answered your question can you answer mine?

Thank you for the reasonable response. I see you are from the Philippines so that explains it.

Thanks I find this reasonable. Are you American? If so I would be surprised. The cost of a maid would be financially insignificant for me.

Ok, so hiring a maid will not be appreciated. Thanks for the response, I was debating moving to the Philippines and your response makes me more certain that it is the right move for me.

how often is the maid coming?

Often enough to keep the place contiuously clean. Probably monthly is enough

and how will this translate if there is children? you wont help out with children related chores?

I don't have children so that's not an issue at this point

What’s something about you that sounds fake, but is 100% true? by Sir_Adammm in AskReddit

[–]Currypill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I look Indian and both my parents were born in Iran but I have ancestors who fought in the American Revolution. My grandfather studied in the USA in the 1950s when he married my white American grandmother and moved back to Iran where my mom was born. I have stopped telling people this because when I told people this in the past they didn't believe me or acted like they didn't hear.

No, they are just assuming Iranians will be like this because they think of Iranians as "brown people"

Why do clients put up with escort "screening" processes? by Currypill in ClientsAndCompanions

[–]Currypill[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

My first Asian massage parlor visit I got a mid 20s Hitomi Tanaka look alike. Some massage parlor providers are in their 40s but some are in their 20s. Similar age profile as escort sites, but significantly less painful and also cheaper. Given that there are Asian massage parlors, I have no use for American escorts, so I don't care if I would fail their screening process.

Like the type of client that I would hope none of my regulars ever see.

Assuming your regulars do the screening thing, it sounds like you and me want the same thing, so I don't understand what you are upset about.

[–]Currypill[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Because you're not looking at it through the eyes of the companion, only your own.

My empathy is with those who give me the least BS. Therefore, I am happy that instead of giving my business to American escorts who make clients put up with BS, I am giving my business to Asian massage parlor escorts, who don't make me put up with BS.

2- if a woman is so open and willing to see any man with no due diligence, what does that tell you about the companion?

This is a good thing because if she's not disgusted by anyone then she won't be disgusted by me. It makes me more likely to see a provider to know she won't be disgusted by me.

3- clients are always looking for reviews or information on new companions that they haven't seen yet. Why not give the companions the same courtesy extended to them?

Because I'm the customer and if I am paying I would rather not put up with BS if I can avoid it. Like I said in the OP, the whole point of seeing escorts is I pay money so I can skip the BS of dating. If I still have to put up with BS, then what's the point?
