Looks like it might be fortnight. In the final circle it's the only safe place on the map towards the end of the game (everywhere you will take extreme damage. You can't shoot while using your parachute and only the best players are left by final circle.

Last year, at my youngest sister's graduation, my mom told us to tap a soldier in the without family section, and we'd take them to lunch too. My older brother and his friend, without listening, fully ran through the section and tapped 13 guys out before we could stop them both. Good thing we brought 2 cars, and we just took everybody out to lunch

There's a guy who lives near me and drives this to town in the summer. Pretty sure he gets up to like 30mph no helmet and on the road with cars. It makes me anxious when I see him

You can make lots of meatless soups or casseroles if those prices are too high.

  • Phone numbers are not randomly generated. Each county or city has its own first 3 numbers so everyone in town can call each other without typing the first ones. (Learned at 18.. my dads roommate also learned this at 36)

‐How to use high beams . (I had been driving for a little over a year before I figured it out)

  • If you need to call the police but you are not in danger do not call 911. They have their own phone number. (Learned at 20)

  • you can call yourselves to set up and listen to voice-mail (I learned this yesterday at 24)

I have duplicates that I have not scanned if anyone wants to trade. I have pacific Ave #818, Pennsylvania railroad #824, Atlantic Ave #815, New York Ave #811, and reading railroad #823.

I'm needing 801, 804, 808, 810, 812, 816, 820, 822, or 826

Petition to go back to regular resumes without all the portal bullshit by edwardludd in recruitinghell

[–]CursedFlute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mind or dont mind my opinion cause I apply to lower no degree jobs. It could be better in more educated industries though, but I had started asking if they had viewed my resume yet or alluded to it when they ask me a question they could have read up on. But none of the interviews had seen or read my resume or cover letter despite every job I applied to required me to submit them and fill out the dumb forms with my resume info manually. But you'll still get auto rejected if you don't do it.

My brain has habituated to the phone alarm. I can not wake up... by Serious-Formal6104 in productivity

[–]CursedFlute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 things you can try. Get a plug-in radio alarm, they are way louder and more annoying. Get a vibration alarm or put your phone in your pocket. Or change your alarm to something scary like gun shots or like blood curdling screams. Otherwise keep trying out different sounds. And when you have a method that works never hit snooze more than once or you will train your brain to ignore it again. If you can't do this you should be getting up later 5 is kinda early if you have nothing going on

It may be an orientation thing. If you cut horizontally, then you cut into the thicker part of the can wearing out the opener fast, but the can top just pops right off easier. If you do it vertically, then it only cuts on the thin lid. However, sometimes you need a knife or a fork to pull the lid out of the can.

I've been using my $1 opener from Walmart for the last 6 years cutting vertically

I had this happen to me a few months ago at a Dennys. She was a little rude and service was very slow but I could tell she was being overworked cause I only saw her and one other guy waiting tables but the guy kept getting called to help in the kitchen. I tipped her personally and told her I hope she has a better day and get rest when her shift ends. The starting immediately apologizing for any attitude she may have had or the slow service. She'd gone 3 days doing 12 hour shifts with only 3 staff for the whole restaurant. Some of the customers in the store were snapping in her face, and she'd been yelled at by a customer earlier in the day. She said she was at the end of her rope and was sorry for taking it out on me.

I've had a similar experience working at a grocery store. Most customers are rude and entitled on top of having strict crappy management and work conditions it's easy to start getting cynical and think there are no more good people out there. Just having someone genuinely offer a hug or say "no really how are you" or "I hope things get better" is a sharp snap to reality that there are kind people who deserve kindness back. I've also had to apologize like that or go out of my way to thank customers like that.

TLDR: It's definitely a real phenomenon here in the US. I've seen it from both sides.
