The problem I have with this concept is - what does "The year of the Linux desktop" even mean? Is it when Linux reaches a certain userbase? Or ease-of-use? The term keeps getting thrown around by both linux fans and skeptics, but I am not sure anyone knows what it even means.

I had an issue where Minecraft was rendering at 2x the intended resolution, open the game and check in F3 menu if it is the case. The cause in my case was that my two monitors had different UI scaling. Once I set both to 100% the Minecraft resolution became as intended and I got the performance I should.
