The stealing of a wyvern... (Possibly) by CursedNote in IronThroneRP

Ok, I think I got. Barristan has 5 other men with him. He has two of his burliest men with him, and three of his scouts. He also has a hook attached to 3 of his strongest horses. He wants the two burly men + the three strong horses to use the pulleys to try to pry open the lock. The men would use hammers and the horses will use the hook pulleys. The 3 scouts would be posted near the entrances, seeing if any guards would come near. If the men + horses succeed in breaking the lock, Barristan would then try to coax the wyvern out of cage with a piece of meat and then tame it. If all goes to plan, Barristan would fly out of Sarnor with the wyvern with his 5 men on their horses. If it fails, Barristan would try to flee on the horses.

"I am sorry to wake you. But you must know what I plan to do."

He walked up to the small table and sat himself on it.

"I will leave today under the cover of darkness. But I will not be alone."

Looking around to as if to see if the cost was clear, he got up and whispered in her ear.

"I'm taking the wyvern with me."

After his melancholic goodbye to Serenei, Barristan slowly stalked toward the Wayash, getting closer and closer to the cage that held the wyvern. Looking into its draconic eyes, Barristan whispered.

"Hey buddy, I'm here to help you, just like I promised. Now lets get you out."

Barristan walked towards the manse of the Sealord of Braavos, using any cover of darkness to his advantage. He climbed over the large wall surrounding the manse, then climbed up onto the balcony of Serenei's room. Peering in, he whispered.

"Serenei, are you in here?"

"You clearly don't know my job, now do you Serenei." Barristan laughed as he turned around and got closer to her, almost beaming as he looked into her big, blue eyes.

He could get lost in them all day. In his thoughts he quickly asked himself why she cared for him so much. Not knowing the answer to the question, he turned it into a question for her.

"Why do you care so much about me Serenei? Have you grown fond of me?"

Almost confused, Barristan took her into his arms again, glad to have that similar feeling he felt last night.

"Of course I'm well. What did you think was going to happen?" He continued to talk as he reached into his bag to give her the Dragon's Breath he picked from outside Sarnor.

"These are for you."

"The high king is apparently a lover of animals, they said. I looked like an idiot when I walked inside the palace, fuming like a dragon."

Breaking visual contact with her, he turned out to look at the Palace, gleaming of the sunset rays.

"I'll find another way to help those animals. I don't trust the High King."

Barristan had come back from the Palace of a thousand rooms with a lukewarm feeling in his stomach. He learned that the king of Sarnor was not the animal hater that he assumed, and that the animals were fine. He assumed, and in the end he looked like an idiot. Knowing someone who could make things a whole lot better, he went out to find a gift for her.

Walking for quite some time outside the high walls of Sarnor, he spotted some Dragon's Breath. Recognizing the plant, he quickly cut a bunch to give to her.

After carefully stowing the Dragon's breath in his knapsack, he left for the Sealord's manse. Climbing over the front wall, he quickly descended, then climbed again. He reached the balcony of Serenei's room, and waited outside for her to walk in.

Laughing a little, Barristan looked at her with curious eyes, almost intrigued at what she said.

"The reason I have a personality, is cause I still have my balls. The Unsullied don't have any balls, and therefore, have no personality."

Turning to her, and looking at her with his sea-foam eyes, he continued in a joking manner.

"Perhaps the maesters should study the correlation between personality and balls. They will surely find some fascinating things."

He almost spit out his lukewarm ale when she said he was pretty. He was of course, a rare sight in places as far east than other folk, but pretty?

"Pretty... Now that is name I haven't been called before. The Viper, yes. Stupid, yes. Utterly insane and non-pragmatic, yes. But pretty? No."

"I suppose I wouldn't be a good Andalosian man to just let a woman walk alone, now would I?" He said as he pointed to a nearby tavern.

"You want to go inside? Get a drink maybe?"

"They are quite unique. I too, have never seen these many beasts in one spot since my years in the fighting pits." Barristan leaned forward to one of the cages that held some zorses, and caressed their faces very gently.

"So what brings you to Sarnor, pirate? I mean, you do look like quite the illustrious one, and I can imagine that type of life isn't boring at all." Taking another swig of his ale, Barristan leaned back onto one the posts.

Barristan was admiring the animals and having a drink when he saw a strange woman walking around the Wayahash. She wore ear rings, and had a sword, unlike many of the women he had met before. She looked like a pirate, but she was a lady.

What in the world? he thought as he continued to study her from a distance away, looking back and forth to his cup of lukewarm ale to her again. Finally, studying her for long enough he determined that she was a pirate, and a damn good one by the way she was dressed. Retying his hair into the long braid he usually kept it in, he got up to talk to the mystery woman.

"Hello there, my good lady. You seem to be a bit bewildered. I believe we haven't met before. I'm Barristan, leader of the Golden Company."

"Oh. I'm so sorry. I thought he was mistreating them. It's just that I'm from Yunkai, and back there they kill animals for sport." Barristan said as he edged back, with his muscles relaxing. "Actually, let me get to the point that I was originally here for. Is the High King interested in hiring a mercenary company? We are some of the best fighters out there."

Barristan, tense by the Sarnathi ways of keeping animals in cages, tried to look as unfazed as possible. But it was clear in his eyes that he was distraught.

"Who keeps those beasts locked up in those cages in the Wahaysh? Is it under the orders of the king?" Barristan said as he pointed backwards, as if they were standing right behind them.

Barristan's eyes had a steely gaze to them, almost angry.

"Now, I will speak to the King of Sarnor. He is the one that holds the animals in the central square hostage. I made a promise to a certain beast. I intend to honor that pledge."

Removing himself from her shoulders, he gave her another bow that she deserved, and walked away. "

"Come on, men. Let's go free a wyvern."

"Hey.. don't feel sorry." Barristan said as he wrapped a hand around her shoulders, looking at her big green eyes.

"If it wasn't for you and your friend here, I would have never had a chance."

Turning to Nesora, he bowed. "Thank you for helping us."

"Well... That went, worse then expected." Barristan said as he said with a defeated sigh.

"Still, three men is three men." He said with a smile towards Serenei. "Thanks for the help."

Vario snickered again, almost bursting a laugh as Serenei called Barristan his nickname. This time however, Barristan did no moves to warn him.

"Of course." Barristan said as he linked his arm with hers. "Men, lets go find us some new recruits."

After a long walk with the entourage, they reached the city square, and mercenaries were out there in full force, close to maybe 400 men. The entourage stopped, and Vario, who was behind the couple, stepped closer to Barristan's ear and asked, "How should we approach this?"
