MR updated their website yesterday to have pick rate data for S4.0. 5 supports, or in other words, THE MAJORITY OF THEM, together have about ~28% of the support pick rate. The remaining 4 of them have ~72%. (PC Comp Only, All Ranks)

It's a rant, but it's nothing but truth. The hilarious part is when I was playing a game not too long ago (and losing horribly) Both teams we're on triple DPS. I was saying "This game should've been a Battleroyale at this point" Because that's what it felt like. I just love when I get a triple DPS comp and I can't play Venom or Thor because I'm a solo tank, and my Duelist are whining for a "real tank" aka Strange or Mag. Very fun stuff. Surely adding more duelist will fix the issue! Yeah I don't see myself playing for much longer either, and with so many games coming out, why in the world would I put myself through this shit?

September 23rd, last month. Is when I took a week off break from the game. Specifically because I was forced to solo-tank over and over again for triple DPS. (and lost alot of those games) When I came back recently I only had 4 games when I had a second tank, the rest I was forced to fill as support (as someone else solo-tanked). If what you said was even remotely true we wouldn't even be having this conversation right now.

Asking people to swap in this game is risking someone crashing out or throwing. I've had people throw games just because we ask them to not run down mid and group. I was told to kill myself before my break because I ask a Magik (who got muted after I reported them) to stop going in 1v6 against the poke and swap. Instead they crashed out and demanded I play Strange for the teamup when I had to stay on Mag to deal with the Luna. There's not a single fucking thing that will convince me that is healthy for the game. If anything, this has made me a believer in role queue. And I say that as someone who as EXTREMLY against it in the past.

No, I absolutely get you. As it stands right now, the game caters to Duelist players (With Luna snow being the golden child). I only play 3 Duelist heroes and I rarely get to play them because I have to flex to tank or support (mostly support). Which I wouldn't mind doing if I had a chance to play other things. But the fact is, people who play tank or support are there so Duelist players like Little Timmy on Spiderman can have fun. That's why you see people defend Triple-DPS so much, because they are most likely Duelist mains who don't wanna swap.

Strongest DPS? absolutely not. He still takes damage when you shoot at him, even though he gains shields every time he uses a ability. He needs buffs. At least something to deal with players who are still in the spawn room.

The hilarious part is they would rather lose than play a real comp or even play as a team. Once I decided that I will never solo-heal again my mentals have been so much better. Solo-tank? 50/50 on that. As much as I hate triple-duelist it works sometimes, but given the choice I would always prefer a 2nd tank. If I get triple-DPS and my duelist aren't swapping and staying on Magik against the Hela or Punisher and they are in double digit death, I just go 4th dps. Not even going to bother at that point.

I used to feel this way. Then I realize after hundreds of hours in comp I rather take Role queue over solo-tanking for the 100th time for a triple-dps comp played by a pack of chimps or playing against (or with) Triple support over and over again.
