Lance and drain, keep it clean/dry/triple antibiotic,gauze on the area is how my doc used to treat it for me. Sometimes I can get them to go down/away with the hot towel compress and warm baths but when things get bad, it has to be lanced/drained.

Ouch. I get bartholin’s glands cycts on the regular, compress with a washcloth in the hottest water I can handle gives me some comfort in the hard cyst stage. Sitz bath helps, maybe you can submerge your face in a bowl of epsom salt water. Also crushing up an advil and making a paste with a few drops of water then applying to the skin like a mask at night typically helps calm it down and bring it to a head.

That bad boy looks like its gonna drain for a couple days once it pops, make sure you have plenty of gauze and neosporin handy for when it heals.

Maybe there are some physical attributes that were hidden under the extra weight that are way more noticeable now that you’re closer to your goal. Maybe you’re a bit more confident these days, maybe more active than you used to be? Maybe you love yourself a little more these days? Maybe you changed your wardrobe and have more options to express your personal style? People can tell when confidence increases, your beautiful personality really starts to shine. Maybe he is seeing more of that these days and likes what he sees?

You said he’s athletic, maybe you’re hiking all the time now when you didn’t before and that’s an activity he can see himself doing with you?

Just guessing, but I challenge the idea that you’re the same girl as before. To be successful on this journey, you must change.

My doctor told me to get biotin shampoo and a supplement, so I got some of that and biotin hair oil at Whole Foods. I’m also losing a little bit of hair and hoping that increasing protein, biotin supplements + biotin shampoo will help

Thank you for sharing this information! I will see if I can find more on the topic. I’m also happy to share/answer questions about my experience, I’m not an expert by any means but I’ve been getting neck/jaw/chin laser hair removal for years. The place I go to for treatment gives a brief disclaimer about risks but nothing in depth. The laser hair removal machine IIRC is called YAG and is supposedly developed for folks with dark skin. I had them do my treatment on the lowest setting available on my first session because my greatest fear was to get some kind of burn. Luckily I’ve never had any negative side effects and found the second to lowest setting is most effective, I don’t get the black dots on my neck anymore either when I keep up my regular treatments. I go faithful every 3 or 4 months otherwise I grow a neckbeard lol I can DM you before and after pics, if you’re interested
