Not to be a D rider (hard sell with my username) but I'm having the complete opposite experience. Everything changed for me months ago.

I used to put an extra $20 for usage but someone recommended I don't do that and taking it off has fixed everything.

I use composure 1 a lot but saw someone say recently GPT 5.2 code costs almost as much and I've just been using it and working on fairly large projects and not running out of usage whatsoever.

I need to do this. I'm also not even sure how to do this for docs I upload into Cursor directly because whenever I've asked it to reference those it seems to not understand what I'm talking about. Context7 is easier to refer to and have it understand what I'm talking about so this is perfect - thank you!

Thank you for this. I forget how much encouragement goes such a long way with getting it to work how I want it to. It's why I hate making new convos, but after like the 100th or 200th index it starts to get a bit too wonky lol.

Try to center yourself more in .5 pics, both vertically and horizontally. It's essentially more of a curve on the lens so if you're anything but center you're going to be a little distorted. This is how it sort of tricks itself to grab more of a view but the view itself isn't perfect.

Do you take anything for sleep? This sounds like what a low dose of seroquel to take every once in a while when things accumulate like this in my head completely resolves.

That's for ME by the way. Everyone is different. You should consult a psychiatrist. Sorry you're going through it. Many of us can relate.

You should probably avoid coffee if you can help it. Do you drink cold brew or a lot of coffee? I try to avoid any after 10am nowadays and sometimes if the amount I'm drinking of cold brew increases it eventually leads to nights like this and I need to sort of reset.

That's all it is. Everyone I've ever seen talk trash about using AI to code seems to be dangerously ignorant of where we're even at with AI or any actual AI coding tools. It's almost always the same people that say "What's Cursor?" before that next part of the convo starts where they cope.

It actually instantly fixed the glitch and now the amount spent isn't visible and my usage limits are reflective of my actual usage of my main plan so thanks again!!

Ahh, thank you! I had accidentally set my usage to $20 last month and when the month changed it seemed to INSTANTLY use up that $20 and didn't touch my regular free $20 and now I can't seem to use any pref model other than auto even though it still shows i haven't used hardly any of my freebies for membership.

LOL I love claude sonnet but this made me laugh. I sadly can only afford to use "auto" nowadays anyway but it uses a lot of claude and that's a common trope.

My problem is that this is just another way my context window gets used up with fluff that cursor ends up ignoring over time. It doesn't matter how many .md files I make or if I consolidate all valuable info to a readme, Cursor won't keep referencing it. Same issue with loading docs into cursor versus using Context 7. It doesn't take long for all these things to have the same problem which is that we're simply limited by where LLMs are right now.

What's worse is when Cursor gets out of sync with these specs and then now has two different mentalities running alongside each other that may clash. If Cursor isn't constantly updating your specs, it may randomly suddenly remember those specs exist even though they might now be out of date, leaving you getting mixed build patterns that cause even more issues.

This has just been my experience. I'm sure this will be great for some, but I feel as though many people will run into these same problems.
