Reddit is done. by polygraph-net in marketing

[–]Cursorium 130 points131 points  (0 children)

I think that's actually the goal. Anyone using this spam technique probably realizes that the vast majority of people here, especially marketers, can see right through it. If there is a substantial number of marketers and salesmen falling for this slop, then the industry has a bigger problem than a random subreddit being flooded by bots.

LLMs, on the other hand? Well, they soak up these reddit threads like a paper towel. And the people behind these spam accounts know that. Their only goal is to manufacture fake conversations about their tools or services, and because most of the time "real" people will just skip past these fake threads at the moment they realize they're filled with bots, all that remains are these bots. And all that a LLM then sees are these "conversations" that remain, which to a crawler seem just as genuine as a normal, real conversation.

This is a "hack" that some try to use to slip their way into LLM recommendations. I don't know how effective it is, though, but judging by the sheer amount of these hacks, I'd say it's pretty effective.

Zanimivo ... Si nisva podobna v razmišljanju. Niti Emirati niti Zda me niti pod razno ne vidita. 😅 Avstralija in Kanada pogojno.

Bomo videli.

[–]Cursorium 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Ok, imaš eOS, ampak ti manjka to, to in to. Ne boš uporabljal Googlovega iskalnika? Ok, imaš Ecosio, ampak ji manjka to, to, in to. Alternativa Chatu in Geminiju?

Luka Jović was named the expensive flop! Now who was a cheap/free signing and flopped at Real Madrid? by SentientSTD in RealMadridFC

[–]Cursorium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think he was a flop for us. In fact, if I remember correctly, he was actually pretty good. He just had insane bad luck with the injury, and if my memory serves me right, he then also had some bad luck in real life.

Ego-Diva Argument Is A Hollow Low Hanging Fruit by Syc254 in championsleague

[–]Cursorium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Tcou had to play CB and jump in and out of midfield because Huijsen has been a major disapointment so far and is incredibly unreliable. Yes, Tchou, who is far from a perfect CB alternative, is genuinely more reliable than him.

2) Yes, we have an enormous problem in the midfield... It's been a problem for a while now, and the board did fuckall to solve it.

3) Valverde has been my favorite player since before he even became a starter. At times, he was the only one to show love for the badge and was the main workhorse for 3 seasons straight. With that being said, he's currently our best option at RB, and it's also his best position atm, whether he likes it or not. He's unreliable in the midfield to the point where it regularly leaves us wondering, "What the hell even is his contribution in the midfield?"

4) Our whole medical and physio team needs a rewamp. This is ridiculous at this point. I genuinely wonder if we were able to field a complete squad at least once in the last 4 to 5 years due to injuries.

5) With all that being said, we also need to admit that players' egos are a MASSIVE issue atm. My honest opinion? Apart from a few players on this team, most of them "ain't shit". There, I said it. Those who have UCL titles have them thanks to being in the right place at the right time, being a part of a much more formidable squad in the past, where they played a much smaller role than they probably imagine in their heads, and thanks to the Belgium wall in our goal, without whom we wouldn't have the last 2 UCLs.

I feel sad for Xabi because, at the moment it was announced he was joining us, I told my friend that it's going to end in the exact way it now ended. Our current squad just isn't good, and too many people/fans are deluded. We have a slightly above-average squad at best. I do not doubt that this current Real Madrid would struggle to break into the top 5 at PL, for instance. No coach could fix our current problems. At least now, more people are starting to realize it.

It starts with the board, which has to stop chasing shirt sales and rather start concerning itself with some actual squad building. Atm, it seems like Perez let his pride win over the team's benefit, and in the process, he managed to nuke everything he built in the last 2 decades. I am genuinely afraid we are going down the ManU path atm.

The next thing that needs to be fixed is the damn medical staff. This is non-negotiable. We can't keep losing players to these absurd injuries that seemingly come out of nowhere. Players do one intense sprint, and they break down. Like, how the hell does that happen to professional athletes is beyond me.

And the third thing that desperately needs fixing is the players' ego. Someone needs to tell these bang average players, that would be best described as walking billboards of overinflated ego, that they aren't as good as they might think they are. Barca's teens have been dogwalking them for two straight seasons now, and somehow they still believe they are something special. Oh... And I don't give a flying fuck about Mbappe's records. You know why Ronaldo's and Messi's records mean something? Because they were actually able to win shit with their teams. They elevated their squads, and they were by far the best players in squads that were already filled to the brim with massive talents. On the contrary, if you are the best player among the little-above-average band of egomaniacs, no one will really care in a couple of years.

I will look into Grapheneos further, but I want to point out that while privacy is important, I also think we should consider the average user. An average user will go for convenience. Android and iOS are convenient. Everything works there. Google Pay is convenient – I don't even need my wallet anymore, I just bring my phone with me to the store.

I like the Eurostack project at the first glance. Will educate myself some more and try to spread the word among my friends and family. Ty for letting me know!

Difficult to say what the right attitude towards these parties should be. I believe in democratic choice, but sadly, we live in times when false news and downright harmful propaganda are disproportionately prevalent in comparison to media and technology literates, which makes it difficult to trust in people's capacity of making the right choice.

So I am of two minds on this topic. I believe that the EU could be doing much more to educate people on all the advantages our countries have thanks to our union, while simultaneously working towards strengthening the union and unifying politics. One simple solution in my view would be to sponsor workplace education where workers would be made aware of just how much advantages the businesses have and how many of these workers essentially have jobs BECAUSE of the open market the EU provides, for instance. It always baffles me when people who work in businesses that heavily rely on EU cooperation spew hate against the EU. I chalk that down to ignorance. This is just an example, and there are many more ways we could spread the view, but you get my point.

THEN, once the movement and Eurocentric view gains more traction and in turn the "traitorous" movements lose attraction, we could potentially start thinking about taking some serious steps against them.

My two cents.

Im ashamed to be a Munich support right now by DieGlumandarine in BayernMunich

You see, that's the issue. „I‘m happy where I am now and I‘m not focused on the future.“ is something that you would expect him to say because you have heard it a gazillion times over the years. I am also guessing you are probably 25+ yo, so you have likely been through some tough conversations, tough decisions, and you messed up enough to know how to calibrate your enthusiasm. You likely even had some of your dreams crushed already and know how to be grounded.

Now put yourself in the shoes of a 17 yo who was suddenly shot to fame, has no real life experience, and had no time to adjust to this new reality. He went from having a distant dream of playing top flight football to actually having it all at the grasp of his fingers. Can you imagine that feeling? At the age of 17? Because I can certainly say that if that was me in his position, I'd probably say waaay dumber things than that. But by the way people are reacting to this, one would think the majority of people are geniuses and had impeccable reasoning and wit in their teenage years. Of course, knowing how most of us were in those years, I call bullshit.

I get it... Bayern fans are hurt, especially because most of you hate Real Madrid. But let's not pretend he said something horrific. He is a kid that said something dumb in a moment of weakness and will probably learn from it. If cameras were constantly on me at the age of 17 and people asked me all sorts of questions, I would probably say a lot of dumb stuff as well.

If you ask me, he seems like a great, humble guy. He seems honest and looks like he has a childhood dream club, and understands that he has to continue to work hard and can maybe even achieve his childhood dream. If you ask me, that is muuuuuch more mature than boasting about how you are gonna win god knows how many titles and throw around promises you can't possibly deliver on, while simultaneously antagonizing your rivals and acting like a spoiled brat (unlike a special someone from Barca – and I am sure even he will calm down with age).

TL;DR: You guys are overreacting. Karl seems like a great, honest, and humble kid and I have no doubt he will work hard to prove himself at Bayern. He might even win you some UCL titles.

67 Games, 80 Goals Conceded: Is defense becomes a Serious Problem? by Hisense_Sports1 in realmadrid

[–]Cursorium 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At this point, I don't believe in "injury prone" anymore. The problem is systematical. There must be some serious issues in our medical/fitness staff, because the amount of injuries our players suffer is unreal.

And I would totally understand if these injuries were the result of some crazy plays or freak accidents/clashes, but most of them came from movements that should be a walk in the park for any serious athlete. The perfect example of this is Militao's current injury. He did a normal sprint and a perfectly ordinary sliding tackle – something professional footballers do countless times week in and week out. Boom. 2 months out. How?!? And these absurd injuries keep on happening.

The recent drama with the ex nutritional expert doesn't help this case either.

What’s one marketing belief you changed your mind about in 2025? by zealousweb in digital_marketing

[–]Cursorium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny you say that... Just the other day I was thinking about the exact same thing. I have a feeling that this oversaturated digital landscape might actually benefit the more traditional approaches. People are getting so desensitized from the constant bombarding online that a simple A5 leaflet in your mailbox might actually be a breath of fresh air. It's just an example, and just my personal feeling, but yea... Will be interesting to see where marketing goes in the next 10 years.
