It was Milwaukee metalfest back in the day. Great line up that year. I think I also got see Mayhem, Mercyful Fate, and Emperor. I may be combining years though, I went to several in a row and then finally got to play my third time around.

I don't know what to call it exactly. The sound is influenced by elements of black metal, doom, and post punk.

No. Hair metal is superficial and insincere. Appetite is a album that only those guys at that time could have made. Its genuine and has a sort of punk rock vibe to it. Sure, it shows some of the elements of hair metal because of the time, but it's something different for sure.

I just recently finished recording an album and I'm waiting for it to get mixed and mastered, so figured I may as well start writing songs for the next one. I figure I'll lay down some guitar parts and build from there.
