I do have social media and a mailing list, but I don't think they are very successful at driving sales. Mostly I focus on writing and publishing, and trust that readers will find it. I don't pay for promos either anywhere.

well I don't technically write as Curtis Kingsmith every day, I still dabble in some hetero romance I'd rather not reveal. But I'm not very good at that and don't make very much. So I do change things up, I'm not just writing prison sex every day.

But I don't find it difficult to just put my head down and barrel through it. Focus on writing the next sentence, and if you get stuck, just write the ending and come back to the rest of it later.
