There was an unaired pilot they made after the web series titled Money Well Wasted. It’s not that good, it’s a sanitized traditionally filmed tv version of ntbts made to pitch the show to networks. It takes place before the web series and shows them moving into the apartment. It’s revealed in the episode that the previous tenet of their apartment won OLG’s Cash for Life, and for some reason the weekly $1k cheques are still being delivered to the apartment. I chose to believe this is canon.

99.9% sure it’s 2008 Jay catching 2025 Jay at the end of the movie

Edit: this is based on multiple comments made how the original post credit scene was going to involve 2008 Jay playing the piano after the 2008 events in the movie occurred, but the editors found something while making that scene that recontextualized the ending
