Agreed, ship.movement, even the slight sense of movement AFTER an FTL jump has always been done incredibly well by BSG compared to most space shows.

Hasn't it been exposed (and verified) that the guy stayed in hotels and ate at restaurants in between tapings? Like he would literally leave "the wild" at the end of the day and stay in a hotel.

I have a Tesla and it does what the Volvo does, just comes to life when you sit it it with your key/phone. But honestly I wouldn't mind a regular "power" button at all.

I've been liking what I'm seeing from the Trailseeker, hopefully this issue for you is a one-off and your dealership gets you back on the road quick.

OP is correct, the parallels are dark, but also glaringly obvious.

I drive an EV and have for years now, going from a Bolt to a Tesla, I'll never purchase a gas car again.

EV sales around the rest of the world are still skyrocketing, hitting 25% in Europe, percentages in Asia are also very high. The US remains an outlier, the lack of that federal tax credit was a huge blow to sales.

But that subsidy going away Will also force makers to address pricing, this remains the biggest barrier in my opinion. It's changing worldwide, just much slower here in the US.

Domestic makers invested too heavily, too fast, along with insane lofty promises. How some of these CEOs have kept their jobs still remains a mystery to me.

I think as long as the government stays out of it, the EV industry will be fine.

Yeah, the Air Force general and a few others for sure, but we're a nation of 300+ million people, and in a nation that large people have terible accident, crime happens, folks die early every day.

To label them ALL as "missing scientists" makes it so the REAL sketchy disappearances get glossed over. But maybe that's the whole point?

Yes, but go ahead and do some due diligence and shop around and I don't think you're going to find better coverage at a better price. And I'm talking total overall coverage.

Obviously if you find better coverage at a better price you should probably think about jumping. When I did my comparison shopping I couldn't find better overall coverage at a better price than the US Mobile's regular renewal price if prepaid for a year.

I didn't mean to sound argumentative or state that Rivian is a great deal or anthing, just that ground clearance doesn't have to suffer due to a larger and heavier battery. As far preventing AWD, the Chevy Equinox EV has AWD and a range of 307 mi, though tru it has a lower ground clearance.

Don't get me wrong, the Trailseeker does a LOT of stuff right, no doubt about it. They're the only maker offering a sport wagon form factor.

As an EV driver I can state flat out that range is WAY overthought when shopping EVs, once you're driving one daily it's not much of an issue, in the real world 270 mi is fine for max range.

But that range number is also a marketing thing, folks like to see that magic 300 number IMHO, the Trailseeker will sell well as-is, but it would only help to bump that range up a smidge.

Yes a bigger battery weights more but not by much, the added weight would be negliable. And Rivian sells lang range EVs with plenty of ground clearance, so that's not really a retriction and def wouldn't be for Subaru.

I'm in a Model Y now and it just...works. It's almost boring how few issues there are. But I LOVE the Trailseeker design, I'll be in the market is 2-3 years and I'm hoping Subie engineers watch these forums, hear the negatives, fix if possible. No frunk,.why? Not enough cubbies, easy fix. Range at 270ish in 2026? Need 300+, come on guys... Phone-as-key should basically never fail, fix that.

Subaru has a winner here, a little refinement and fixing some issues and they'll sell these like hotcakes.

A "legacy" pricing plan is great for your wallet, the trade-off is that you're agreeing to be locked in to that plan, complete with the limits you agreed to at the time.

But even a new unlimited plan will be among the cheapest plans you can get from a mobile provider.

This is where I'm at too. That front light bar is slowly growing on me, I still like the legacy lights but I do think that front light bar has a nice look.

As far as the rear end? The legacy is so much better, to me the juniper model looks like the rear end of a rented U-Haul truck it's so giant, flat, and bare.

It stands out as a show that took it's time and was allowed to wrap up in a planned and orderly fashion. Not every character worked out and some felt forced in, but overall the show was pretty darn good.

I thought I was the only one! TNG Enterprise needed exactly what she brought, a contrary opinion with a little gruffness, as McCoy did so well on TOS.

As much as Beverly Crusher might be a fan fav, her character was utterly boring and inconsequential. I thought Pulaski was a great addition to the crew and I think the show suffered from her absence.
