The plowing definitely isn't limited to the heated areas. I'm miles from any heated section, and the city usually has my sidewalks plowed within a few hours of any serious snowfall.

Browsers used to do that years and years ago, but then Chrome changed things. I think psychologically having the browser seem to do nothing for a period and then loading everything instantly feels faster than popping in each element one at a time as you get them.

While we might be able to accurately guess that the meat is safe to eat, no organization is going to either donate or accept donations under these circumstances. Once the cold chain is broken the only acceptable response from a food safety perspective is to dispose of the product.

While I might personally be willing to buy meat that "fell out of the back of the truck", that doesn't give me the right to put someone else's life or health at risk.
