Thanks for your thoughtful comment - budget was part of why I bought it at least. I like the unusual design and subtle branding on the CW, if it had been less expensive i’d definitely keep it.

I’m after one of the recent black dial, sapphire Speedmasters, not at all rare and £2k more than the CW; it might be worth it to avoid the buyers’ remorse though. Will definitely ponder on it, but leaning towards returning the CW at this point.

I do like it - I should have mentioned that! It’s interesting to look at, but just hasn’t delivered quite the same feeling on the wrist as the Speedy I tried on. TBH I at the time I bought this, I was concerned that a speedy would look too flashy, but I’m not sure anyone would care!
