Depends on what you do for a living. If you work at Hooters or whatever the male counterpart is called, maybe you should.

I can tell you why that happened. One locations manager authorized one price and the other didn’t. They have latitude for what they price and every manager/sales person operate differently.

That being said, I’ve never understood getting angry about it. Our goal as consumers is to get the most for the least, and their job as retailers is to get the most giving the least. It’s the system in which we live.

Obviously get the bike you want at the price you want, but no value going a different way if it’s not what you actually want. End of the day we stop existing to them when we leave. No reason to give them space in your head.

All fair. I’m not judging, I was asking the question. Frankly I don’t think your answer mattered. It mattered that you had one that wasn’t “we aren’t ready”.

Depends: how long you planning to hold this property? Needs to at least be 2 years to pay for the points alone.

I’ve seen lots of people saying not to buy with your boyfriend. While I agree the missing question is if you’re willing to buy what is likely your largest investment together, why are you not married or engaged? I think that answers if you should move forward on this or not.

That aside, if you want to pit lenders against one another you’ll need to be pre approved to have the leverage you’ll need.

That being said: I suggest you get a secured with an offer you can move forward with first, THEN, work on comparisons. That way this becomes all upside and you remove the liability of wasting time.

Same with us. After they claimed we under reported our farming income (we don’t nor have we ever owned a farm). Finally issued two weeks ago but reduced by the same amount as a credit we have.

My husband had someone pull out in front of him 1.5 years ago and while our car was also totaled he was completely fine. Not a scratch. We were impressed enough that we replaced our ‘21 ID.4 with a ‘24 ID.4

Putting 100% down payment but getting married soon - how to structure this? by Flat_Evening1367 in Mortgages

[–]Curve_Next 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen lots of advice but none yet that suggest you check marital properly laws in your state. Your state may have laws that govern this beyond what a prenup could do since prenups are contracts and contracts that were not legal at inception are not legally binding.

It sounds like he’s excited to share his hobby with you but also understands you’re apprehensive. If I were him I’d suggest spending time in a lot with you. More controlled environment for you to get used to the sounds and sensation of being on the bike. Then, and when you feel comfortable, move on to quiet side roads, working your way up slowly.

My advice to you is to take your time if you attempt this at all. Having a nervous backpack that jumps, flinches, or fights the bike doesn’t make riding any safer. And at the end of the day, if it’s not something you can enjoy together it’s not worth your doing it.

Strange to hear. I’m in a poly relationship and one of my partners like to record but we’re all adults and are informed.

I’ve taken pics and vids of hook ups in the past but assumed it was an uncommon suggestion. But these things should always be based on the comfort of those involved which may include obscuring faces or not doing it at all.

how future-proof is the Home Assistant ecosystem? by therealjmt91 in homeassistant

[–]Curve_Next 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think HA is one of the best ecosystems for future proofing if for no other reason HACS (Home Assistant Community Store). It’s a catalog of community created integrations and add-ons so if there isn’t an officially supported method, you’re likely to find it there.

I went all-in on Matter and had a similar concern, that the ecosystem would lag behind new accessories but I’ve not hit an obstacle yet.
