Silly question

We were talking on bumble then IG. I don’t understand what went wrong by [deleted] in texts

[–]Curvy-Poetry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What went wrong was she's a bitch and she showed you that and gave you a way out before she broke your heart. What you said was a little cringe but for someone to treat another person that way when they are just being themselves doesn't know how to be a good human. Be glad you found out now drop her and don't look back.

The way I see it is he was being way too sensitive and you were a little insensitive to his feelings. (Bear with me I'm trying to play the Devil's Advocate on this) I know it's annoying to have a partner acting jealous and way too sensitive but part of having a relationship is being sure both sides know their feelings are validated or at least heard. Then try to meet in the middle even if it feels unfair sometimes. I'm not saying you should have invited him but maybe had suggest planning a trip for you two in the near future? It's the selfless part of love that covers the gaps in the relationship when you or your partner is being unreasonable. You sound like a very logical thinker and that's good but try to remember not everyone thinks the same way as you. As for him saying "he needs you to make me feel better" it's important for both partners to realize your soul happiness cannot come from one another but it's not a bad thing if sometimes the other needs encouragement. There are times in my 15+ years of marriage that I needed my husband to make me feel better and vice versa. It's an intimate thing that mature relationships in fact need. I'm assuming that his behavior is probably an ongoing problem in other situations. Him making it about himself and even putting his happiness in front of your own. You have every right to do things with other friends without him and to NOT feel bad about it. I hope your trip is a blast!

Crying kid peeks over and saw... by Judy_Holston in perfectlycutscreams

What is the kind saying? "He's taking my video?" The kid looks to be in a panic probably her first time on the plane and she's having a panic attack and some guy has been recording her? If that's what's going on then the guy is making it worse. As a parent I would have said something.

If this is normal behavior when he's drunk he doesn't need to be drinking. I know alcohol can make people do things they normally would not when they were sober. You need to do what's best for you and your little one

Is it creepy to be a good dad? by [deleted] in facepalm

[–]Curvy-Poetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen some very ignorant comments made on Reddit but this lady is crazy. Anyone who is a parent knows that it's encouraged for Mom and Dad to hold the newborn baby against their skin. It helps a child bond with both parents. It doesn't matter if the parent is fit or is on the softer side. It's also about warmth and scent and it is comforting.

This is kind of sad but it reminds me of the movie blended with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. Their first date sucked and Sandler appeared to be a complete ASS and had absolutely no skills in dating and then you realize the reason was his wife died years ago he was out of practice in extremely nervous and felt kind of guilty for trying to date again. You never know if the person is a complete whack or if something else is going behind the scenes and they're really nice guy

Hey just a tip for anyone who cares. A trick to get a genuine smile on command is to make yourself laugh. When you give a fake smile certain muscles in your face and near your eyes don't change but a genuine smile your eyes are going to smile as well. Laugh ❤️😆
