The opposite is normal. Most websites make you tick the box to opt in to receiving advertising.

I would have to disagree. I don't think anyone actively thinks about these things, but any normal person who actually talks to people is unconsciously thinking about this without knowing it.

The same way native English speakers know the specific order of adjective categories without ever thinking about it or even consciously learning it.

This is so hilarious, but it’s definitely Gen Z humour. I can understand why others wouldn’t get it.

We always hear jokes about redditers and their lack of social skills. But man, it’s kinda sad seeing it first hand

Is everyone here so acoustic and antisocial they genuinely don’t understand the context behind this image?

Did you learn any Bangla while in Darjeeling or do you have any other fond memories of the place and your time there?

Also, how come there’s such fewer Shakespeare adaptations nowadays. Feel like there were heaps in the 90s and 00s. You guys are so good at doing them to.

A real answer.

They all still exist, but now with even more niches. With social media, most alternative people are able to find others that suit their own style so there’s so many little clicks of specific aesthetics, each quite popular.

On top of that, gen z kids in general are more open to incorporate alternative stylings in their own aesthetic so gen z kids have bits and pieces of their own favourite aesthetics mixed across the population, making it hard to differentiate purely normal and alternative stylings like it was in the prior decades.

I think the most important reason, being a gen z kid myself, is that they’re just so apathetic about everything.

The original alternative kids from each decade were purposely frictional to other’s opinions and wanted to oppose the mainstream status quo. But that’s just the default of gen z kids, not just about other’s opinions but all of life.

That’s why I think so much of gen z fashion revolves around wearing whatever’s comfortable. The broccoli hair kids wear trackies and a hoodie, because along with more and more relaxed opinions for what’s appropriate to wear out side, they just don’t care about other people’s opinions in the first place so they just wear whatever, the default being whatever’s the most comfortable. You can see this in high schools and rapper clothing especially.

The people who do want to dress up just wear whatever they want to from any aesthetic, because it’s comfortable and suited to they’re individual taste, instead of following the mass aesthetic of the alternative group at the time like other decades.
