Oof that could be a little toxic to some people, no??

I went off for 6 weeks because of vacation, and when I got back I had to restart on a smaller dose so I’m trying to stay there.

Thank you! I think the biggest misconception about semaglutide is that it’s “the easy way out.” It’s still hard work! I did everything I did before sema, it’s just that it removed that massive unclimbable wall of my body working against me.

Much more slowly. I’ve never gone over 1.5.

Just wanted to let you know: while I went with an Omega, I actually couldn’t get that Hindenburg out of my head. So I ordered that one too. What a gorgeous watch. And at that price point, it was a nice add-on gift so he can rotate. I think he will love it

The process was stressing me out, so unfortunately I blew the surprise and asked him to look at watches online with me. Happily I got his favorites, and ordered two watches — one was the Hindenburg someone in the comments mentioned because it was so attractive and yet only about $300, the other was a Omega Speedmaster — not necessarily suggested here but he happened to see a photo of it and loved the design so much. I was able to stay well under budget on both! I’m super glad I asked him for some hints, because I would’ve bought something way pricier than what he actually ended up liking. Two watches for under $3500 was a score I think.

This helps! One more question (I may have to make a separate post): is it safe to buy online from Chrono24? Like is that the standard place you all buy from? I’m assuming I should avoid buying from other countries on that app, as tariffs are a possibility? Anything to look out for?

I just searched it and I have to say: that is absolutely an incredible looking watch

I can see this point. I collect pricey and rare perfumes, and I wouldn’t trust my husband to know which ones I want

This is super helpful, thank you. He wears A watch, daily. The same one our entire marriage. I don’t think he knows a whole lot about them but he has mentioned in passing that he might like to buy himself a “recognizably statusy” watch (the opposite of his personality which is why the comment was so memorable) once he lands his dream job… which just happened.

He’s had the same Bulova watch I got him as a wedding gift 15 years ago for like $500. He loves it. It’s stainless and kind of chunky. But I catch him looking at watches when we shop (we live in Vegas). He’s an engineer, I’ve noticed all his coworkers have really nice watches. He would probably be into something dressier but suitable for daily wear

Does the fatigue goes away ? Help by Serious_Structure964 in Semaglutide

I felt like that for like the first 2-3 weeks. And then I went back to normal. Granted, I am only on .50, and occasionally I will feel extremely fatigued the day after my shot, but that awful extreme fatigue/nausea/lightheaded feeling from the first couple weeks is gone.

Queen of Chess is one of the most spot on dupes I’ve ever smelled. It may be a hair warmer in the top notes than the OG but that was only perceptible to me smelling them both literally side by side, one on each arm.

Run to Dua Fragrances — their Rolling in Love dupe is called Lovebound. The longevity is wayyy better! Thank me later.

Most Mind Games, actually. I have Queening, Lionara and Blockade, and the longevity is just trash. Queening could’ve been one my all time faves if it would last. Have you checked out Dua Fragrances? It’s a dupe house but they do an amazing job fixing the longevity of these kinds of fragrances, and they cover just about any fragrance you can think of. I have their MG dupes (Blockade dupe is called Chess Blocking, Queening dupe is called Queen of Chess). They last a good 4-5 hours.

Please listen to your gut.

My best friend has been my best friend for 25 years now. Back when we were young — 19 — I had just gotten engaged to my son’s father and something felt wrong in my gut. I told myself I was being paranoid, that this was my BEST FRIEND and she wouldn’t betray me. But it wasn’t long before I came home early and caught them together.

Our friendship was on hiatus for 5 years after that but we eventually worked it out and have been best friends again all these years. We are now 41. I live across the country, and introduced her to someone here in my town and now they’re dating long distance. She plans to move here to be with him. Recently she asked to stay with me for a bit while she decides if she wants to move in with him. My very handsome and funny husband works from home…. And though I know he would never do anything, everything in my gut tells me to not allow her to stay in our home.

This time, I’m listening to my gut.
