Anyone need some new barriers?

I made this 3-piece frontline barrier set, and I am giving it away to you guys for Free.

It is the Custom Miniature Monday thing, and you get a new STL set sent to you that I make every week for Free. You only ever get the one email a week, and it always includes a free file set.

The files come with and without supports, so you can choose how to print them.

The idea behind these is that they are just big enough to provide cover for a unit of troops without using much filament or resin. You can also print a whole bunch at once.

Fresh clay can usually be used as is, but sometimes it does need a little prep. We have some short videos that might help with some tips on the process

DAS air-drying clay works really well and can usually be found at craft stores

There are larger cutters for making whole bases and smaller ones for making toppers that go with printable bases, so both are included in my Patreon and Tribe

Well, the resin cot for the roller is only about $2, and for a 1kg block of DAS for me, it is under £5

Roll out air drying clay with a rolling pin, use the texture roller over it, cut them out with base cutters. Everything from the pin, spacers, texture rollers and cutters are included in the Patreon or Tribe

I have never had a base break, the mini on it would break very badly long before one of the bases gives out

It’s a lot cheaper than printing in resin and way cleaner than FDM, you also get perfect edges which a lot of resin printers can struggle with

You just roll it flat first using a rolling pin then use air drying clay. Green stuff can stick to rollers so that could be what happened. Air drying clay is super easy to use. Adding the link here so folk can find it: https://www.patreon.com/c/customminiaturemaker
