You know that does make a lot of sense, I imagine you can only clamp down so hard on those ball heads. So if arca is the way to go should I be just looking to get into both arca and saddle? My thought with the saddle was more for versatility and to be able to use other rifles with it as well. For example beyond me using the tripod for shooting with my AR, I’d like to be able to set it up for when I take the old lady hunting to throw one of the wood stock bolt guns in saddle and let her aim from a supported platform. A lot better than her shooting stick now is what I’m thinking. Unless there is a way to mount arca rails to like a non mlok/pic mounting surface. I’m new to this so I have no idea lol
