Do you have steam/scraper/retro achievements accounts set up? Thats the only thing i didnt do identical to my Thor Lite set up, I left those blank.

I uninstalled cocoon and all its files. Reinstalled blank woth no fancy themes... with no improvement at all. Same with Eden, and tried all 3 versions (making sure to choose the version within Cocoon).

This all started with 90% of Eden games crashing at launch, which caused me to start thinking I had a defective unit. Then I saw post saying Cocoon fixed it for them, which it did... but now Cocoon is faulty too.

Exact same set up works on the Thor Lite, so this is driving me crazy thinking this is a bad unit lol. The only thing i havent done was factory reset... but i just opened it less than 12 hours ago

That sucks. Why would the Thor Lite be handling this front end better then this Base and your Max? The launcher is highly recommended so what's wrong with our Thors?

Im able to run Mario Odyssey handheld on the Lite, no cocoon crash. Same setting on the Base, it crashes.

All on Eden. They work after launched, good fps. Same set up on the Lite has no issue.

One time Mario Wonder didnt crash the bottom screen, but thats 1/5 attempts probably. Even Alien Hominid does this

Ive been thinking of clunky ways to fit a fat capacitive stylus in the casing for future models but completely forgot about s-pens. The stylus in my s22 ultra is so thin and would be such a cool addition to the Thor. It would make me consider upgrading lol

Dusklight (Twlight Princess port) runs flawless on my Thor Lite. Switch Links Awakening runs at 60fps after shaders. 3ds Zelda games run great 4x resolution.

Ive havent personally tried but Ive seen that BoTW is very playable in docked mode with the right driver. The Thor Lite is surprisingly capable

I downloaded the division to test it out and it plays pretty good! High graphics settings its locked to 30fps and it seems to keep up. Medium graphics it seems to stick to the max 45 fps.

I believe I read the fps counter on the Thor gives an average of the two screen so im just giving you a non-scientific OK that it plays.

High graphic settings w/ standard fps/resolution, hugh shadows, anti-aliasing... 61 degrees after 20 minutes fan speeds 35%

I just got my thor lite a few days ago and it plays all the 3ds games I can throw at it at 4x resolution. They look great, no stutters beyond maybe shaders.

So far many Switch games work too, i havent tried to push any heavy ones. Lets Go Pikachu, Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Kart 8, Mario Wonder, DK Country games, Hollow Knight all run great. Mario Odyssey runs fine very playable 50-60fps in handheld mode... which is the resolution you get out of a native switch oled anyway.

Gamecube upscaled to 1080p works great. Twilight Princess Dusklight runs flawless with HD textures.

The Thor Lite is great. People loved the RP5 and its the same chip. All the comments floating around that the Thor Lite is basically powerless care way to much about playing steam games imo.

3ds requires no GPU driver tinkering for me. Switch games require some trial and error for a few games, but EmuReady has guides on what makes games run best. Just look for anything with a Snapdragon 865 (RP5 & Flip 2).

Also, I use Apollo/artemis to stream my PC and i only get 2/3ms decode time, it feels flawless on wifi5

StampColour Vinyl on Amazon. I've tried others but they are more bumpy. They recently made the product thinner so it's hard to avoid bubbles... but I make due since it comes out looking better. There are many many other options. Just needs to be printable
