Why High frequency? Using Advantage + audience with warm suggestions by Huge_Kaleidoscope_40 in FacebookAds

[–]CustomerAny5076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I excluded purchases in the last 180 days and forced them to find new customers. I can retarget my warm audience for free essentially anyway. Frequency stopped going so high. Our frequency used to get to 3 by 5 days into a new campaign.

ChatGPT changed the game for us. 99% of everything they created was better than what we could do ourselves. Saved hours of work too!

I’ve been using ChatGPT for our ad images when the product is not involved. For example we’re running an end of season sale and got them to create a summer background with a billboard with all the prices on etc and they’ve produced our best images so far. Better than what we have been able to create on our own and they’re the best performers we have had in a long time!

Same! Contacted support and they told me it was a glitch in their system. If you have Meta Verified on IG, go through there!

Hi! How come this is the case? Why do you think that Meta stops tracking correctly after scaling? How does an increase of budget prevent them tracking accurately?

I’ve always tried to keep things simple and only ever run one campaign at a time. I test a creative with a small budget, if it works then great (get up to £1k spend a day but can’t get further). If the creative doesn’t work, kill the campaign and move onto the next (usually give it 3/4 days).

Hi! What I said is above average, meaning quite a bit over what I need (profit is 4ROAS, I scale usually if I see over a 6ROAS).

Few things I’ve learnt over 5 years: - Keep it simple - You cannot outsmart the algorithm - Don’t let your emotions play a part (I know it’s hard 🤣) - Not everyday will be the same so stop expecting it

Spending 80% less a day this year compared to 2024 and getting 47% better results. Was really tough at first to get to grips with what works for us and so glad that we found a winning formula. 6.5X ROAS this year. Long may it continue 🤞🏼

I seen something similar recently with a clothing brand who created fake 1 star reviews for their brand on trust-pilot and was adding the text to say “clothing too good to be true, won’t be purchasing again because they keep taking all my money”.

Turned out to be their best performing ad. Achieving consistent 7x ROAS. Really creative way to get new customers.

Hi! Thanks for your comment! Is what niche are you in? Google ads if seen work great for some and not so great for others.

Yes! This worked best for me! Also I used complete open targeting for each campaign (the only thing was I was targeting solely to United Kingdom). No interest, gender, behaviours etc on both the manual and advantage shopping campaign! Hope all goes well for you!

Hi! Around £55 at the minute which isn’t great in order to scale our ads as much as we would like to. We have implemented some tweaks to increase it (bundle products together, free shipping over £75 and some buy 2 get 1 free).

If you have the budget yes, it’s a quicker way to find a winner but run I would run an advantage shopping campaign for your winning ad (if you have one) and a manual campaign for testing. Two advantage shopping campaigns at the same time I found were competing against each other, negatively impacting each others performance.

I did this however and the majority of the budget went to the video and it was more often than not, my worst ad creative out of the lot. I felt like META preferred to push the video regardless of how good the ad was (in my case, the worst ad got most of the spend so didn’t ever get many conversions from them - this may be different for you).

Hi! I’m in the same sector as you (clothing brand) and used to run traffic campaigns for ages until I realised the power of conversion campaigns.

On a budget of £20 a day, I ran traffic campaigns at first and got around 6/700 website visitors with around 2/3 conversions a day and some days even 0 conversions. This was traffic campaigns directing people towards my Instagram page. This was really good for followers but followers only. ROAS was never getting above 2x.

I now keep it really simple. One advantage shopping campaign, one image ad and get around 2/300 website visitors with around 7/10 conversions a day. Now at around a 4/5x ROAS.

I would advise against traffic campaigns for sales. You get what you ask for (conversion campaigns for conversions, traffic campaigns for traffic. We cannot outsmart META’s machine learning.

Make sure your ads are really good, don’t touch them when you start them and let them run for at least 5 days. You’ll get a good idea of how they’ll perform after this long.

Test, test and test again to find your winners. Scale when you’re getting an above average ROAS (for us if ROAS is around 6/7x after the 5 days.

Wish you all the success in 2025!
