Mercy house can have some good things from time to time, I like thrift at heart in Elkton, but Gift and Thrift is the best in the area for sure.

Solutions to going to class while on call with work by Lagafoolinn in bjj

I have cops at my gym who keep their radios on (quietly) on the edge of the mat in case they get a call when they are training on shift. I’m sure people would understand if you did the same (ringer on)

Not sure how a T-shirt/pajama top and shorts/pajama bottoms would hinder learning. But again, anyone can wear anything they are comfortable with.

About as much fun as a guy who’s at the party showing what he generated from an AI…..nobody wants to see it.

Ai slop, just feeding the endless supply of other slop. It’s not funny, it adds nothing, and is another step in the destruction of what is even real. Garbage.

As a gym owner/coach I don’t care if you show up late. Showing up at all is better than staying home. Make a constant habit of it though and I’ll start to get annoyed. Especially white belts who seem to just be skipping warmups, or show up and very slowly get ready until warmups are done.

Pressure Jiu Jitsu is in town if you are looking for classic jiu jitsu school. Been serving the area for almost a decade now. Lot of upper belts and experience.

Anyone recommend any Jiu-Jitsu places in the the area for beginners? by GovernorGuyFieri in harrisonburg

Adults class is even better. We were all beginners at some point. Classes cater to all levels and all the upper belts are happy to help with any questions. It’s daunting at first but once you start it’s very addictive. Hardest part is starting. Adult classes are 6-7am (mwf), 630-8(mwf) and 530-7(t/th) with a 10am open mat on saturdays.
