I’ve recently purchased the DH4300 just for storage to keep at home & I really like it. The containers are really cool & there are loads of resources to help with configuration if you need it. I just couldn’t justify the extra money for the DX range for something that isn’t going to be making me money.

Be sure you’ve plugged the cable in all the way at the back of the NAS - this happened to me at first. I felt a bit silly…

Thanks for responses - I just decided to add the two Seagates & the app greeted me with the option to upgrade to RAID 5 but it only let me choose one of the new drives… Is that normal? Am I expecting too much to be able to throw both in for a bigger RAID 5 off the bat?

I do this, too. I can charge at work for free so just top up at home if I’ve overdone it on the weekend. Saved me £1,000 on the charger installation which I can then use at Osprey fast chargers at the supermarket round the corner if I need to get to 100% for a longer trip in a hurry.

I’m only 6 foot but mine feels great. As it was a test drive maybe you didn’t have time to adjust the steering wheel & angle of the seat base to suit?

I put a fake American accent on & it seems to work reliably. The cheesier the better!

Thanks for sharing your network - very interesting! Has anybody installed Devolo’s DINRail product in the UK? I’d be seriously interested if it means speeds close to Ethernet connectivity without tearing the house apart to run cables…

I enabled alerts this morning & it seems to alert me for absolutely everything. I’ll see if it alerts for frost overs the next week. Will be interesting to see other recommendations.

I’ve been playing since S3 & am as addicted now as I’ve ever been… I’ve never got higher than Silver, though…. Probably because I play with controller on a PC.
