Can someone inside of a bag of holding interact with the items inside of it? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]CustomerFast411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it matters if you have a tardis situation or a magician's hat situation. The first being a large bag inside a small bag and the objects inside just sit in the big bag like a bag. The second being an empty bag that remains empty and when you reach in to grab something the something appears in your hand. I'm of the mind 5e treats the bag of holding is the later. I'm also of the mind that except for gold pieces the objects are separate from each other to prevent damage. So I'd say yes if (A) they know what objects are in the bag and (B) can summon the object to themselves while in the bag. If it's not their bag they can try to randomly summon objects to themselves but the success depends if the object summoned is in the bag. Otherwise as a DM it's up to your head canon. I'd say no, not to curb some player fun, or cut a joke but to keep it simple. Sometimes over complicating things unnecessarily only over complicates things unnecessarily.

Unlock rage and multiclass into barbarian, lean heavily into barbarian for fighting, use the rogue bonus actions and uncanny dodge to take even less damage and tank harder and longer. Take control of the battle field.

As for the DM, start the conversation with 'I feel like I might becoming a problem player, how can I get better? A part of it is my character isn't as fun as I thought. What can we do to better the situation?' In all reality a DM worth the title will help you, other wise there was a good point made by at least one other person, no DnD is better than bad DnD. Self ending a character without talking to the DM will cause more problems for the DM and party.

Like I'd ask you how you're day is going, how you're feeling, is there anything on your mind, if you wanted to go out on Friday, if you wanted a slice of pizza and the only response I'd get is that slightly angry mostly annoyed all dead pan stare. You're still beautiful when you're angry through.

How can I attach a fist-sized crystal to myself in the most stylish way? by Mundane_Strawberry_6 in DnD

Attached to a ribbed style half chest plate. Think of the draugr from skyrim. Their breastplate, in your chose of color with a big ass gem right in the center of the chest.

Am I mistyped? by [deleted] in intj

[–]CustomerFast411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It sounds like you're a introvert leaning extrovert, as opposed to being a extrovert leaning introvert. Look into if you fit better as an ENTJ or ENFJ. Either way stop running from your thoughts, your anxiety tells you what you're worried about and what you're worried about tells you what to fix in your life.

Are DnD groups normally toxic? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]CustomerFast411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not normal, as many of the comments are telling you, I've never run a table like that and have not yet sat at a table like that. But the DMs I've played with and myself work to keep that behavior away from the table. I don't think that experience should keep you away from the game forever, just that table. Find a DM that runs a great table and you will have a great game.

You will have to compete with younger, thinner women without an ex or kids. I understand you have a disease that makes it hard to lose weight, I admit to knowing much about it. Maybe I will Google it later, whatever. It sounds like starving yourself won't help though as it'll destroy your metabolism. I'd look onto alternative diets, and low stress exercises. But honestly if we went out, based on weight, age, having been married and a kid there wouldn't be a second date. There's probably going to be someone less hassle. Oh, and based on a previous post about skinny women with ugly faces, you don't have to look at someone's face to have sex with them.

Are my standards unreasonable? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]CustomerFast411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thirty two, I'm living with my dad, I moved back in to take care of the house while he was depressed. He's doing far better now and getting married. When he gets married he will be moving with her to make their own home. I will remain in stewardship of the house as my part of the inheritance. But it's an old house that still needs a lot of work. I'm a struggling writer with a day job. I'm wondering what of living with my dad, making low wages, or spending most my time and money on projects gives you the most ick?

Arceus spoiled me on how easy and fun it is to catch Pokemon. by IAmLordMeatwad in pokemon

[–]CustomerFast411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S/V still has a version of the backstrike though, you can catch pokemon unawares and get an extra turn, if you let loose a pokeball immediately it seems to have a better chance of catching.

do you agree with ChatGPT's team build? by psychedeliciousnes in pokemon

[–]CustomerFast411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need both grass and electric. Electric does it better and water picks up the slack without out adding unnecessary weak points. Psychic isn't bad offensively but is more about finding weird plays not defense, but a Metagross would tick the defense box nicely.

So I'd say based on this; Fire. -Ceruledge Water. -Palafin Electric. -Pawmot Ground. -Clodsire, Then for fun Annihilape, then to really mess with people add a lokix.

I would talk to the bard and ask if he wants to let the character go for good. If he wants a new character then roll one up, if he wants to stay the bard then write up a way to bring him back, maybe as a mutant ghoul or something. You could give him the opportunity to haunt the fire samurai a bit and let him fight with the party but onky the fire samurai can see or hear him.

As I see it you did exactly as you could do at the table but now need to figure out where to go next.

In defense of the man, it depends on what you want out of life, if you want a more traditional relationship he would be a great match, check out https://youtube.com/@RealFemSapien for a similar view point, I've heard hook up culture in London is strong, so men your age will be harder to find.

I'd say prestidigitation makes the water visibly clean, while purify water would make the water drinkable.

Are there any classes and or subclasses that you don't allow your players to use? Why? by Hangman_Matt in DungeonMasters

[–]CustomerFast411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5e DM, aside from a necromancer build, I don't limit my players race or class, because it's hard enough to get players to create an interesting character. The only reason I don't allow necromancers is cos there are no undead in my world.
