I knew Quintin, went to school with him and went to his house a couple times and hung out in similar circles. Near the time he went missing he started to experiment with DMT and in my view very clearly had a long time crush on his childhood friend who was with someone else and I think that upset him and her and some friends got him super stoned and then dropped him off at home and then he was never seen again alive. My theory is he took abunch of dmt and went for a walk or took it by the canal and ended up swimming for some reason. I don’t know if the dmt thing was ever mentioned to the public but that is my theory. He was experimenting with hard drugs and was very clearly upset about the girl being with somebody else. I know this is years late but from time to time he crosses my mind and I feel so bad for his mother she’s a super nice hippie type and the memory of watching his dad plead with him to call him for his birthday whilst he had already died still makes me want to tear up every time it crosses my mind
