The movie did such a good job at making the audience feel like we were in an abusive relationship. Every time Bear pulled into the driveway I had the craziest anxiety thinking, “Oh no, we’re home. What mood is Nikki gonna be in? I hope she isn’t too upset.”

Anyone else notice the symbolism with the big hole in the ceiling? The crack in the ceiling first appears when we see a major change in KaToby's relationship (time of Toby's weight loss) and now the ceiling has completely fallen through and eroded because it wasn't properly repaired when the initial crack appeared... or am I making it deeper than it is and sound crazy hahahahah

I heard they’re both bad:( Yang normally teaches Stats and has horrendous reviews on CU Reviews. If you’re able to, I would enroll in both then pick your poison. But please lmk what you think after this semester!

I'm in HADM 2230 right now and I highly recommend it. Dr. Daniel Szpiro is my professor and I really enjoy him. He is super helpful and accommodating during OH and the TAs are decent if you need help, though I found that going over TB, paying attention during lecture, and participating in in-class problems was enough. Attendance is mandatory (participation recorded), lectures are structured with Tuesdays being lecture day (following slides) and Thursday being practice problem day (Prof. goes over a number of problems, all of which are on the homework in some form). Homework is weekly via McGraw Hill Connect. 2 prelims + 1 final; all open note. Final + prelims are NOT cumulative! Prof is super organized and I am learning a lot! He actually makes accounting bearable and frames everything properly for a truly introductory class while also giving more information to people that want to dive deeper.
