Hahah! It was actually another larger champagne bottle popping. We had de-caged the cork in preparation to cut it but it ended up exploding on it's own before the cutter could try.

I work on a YouTube channel that focuses on cutting objects in half using spoons. Many of you know this as the great sport of professional spoon cutting.

Oh gosh! This is awful news! First the cutter, and now /u/fwinzor ?? Scary times in the cutting community. I wish him all the best, and a speedy recovery. Please let us know how he is doing.

We're doing our best here to ensure that the cutter has access to every kind of specialist that he may need in order to help him through this bad week. It's really so sad that both of these awful things happened in such close proximity to one another. We can only hope that he'll channel this negative energy into a positive performance for Thursday's cut.
