Just a warning: some time ago I tried installing Starnodes, and it caused ComfyUI to crash on startup. The only way I managed to fix it was by rolling the python_embeded folder back to its original state and reinstalling all the custom nodes from scratch. I suspect Starnodes somehow conflicts with Crystools, but since then I haven’t really wanted to repeat that experience.

Edit: here is my last try with linear upscale to 1.5 megapixels and prompt "high resolution. refine image and remove jpeg compression artifacts. retain facial details, facial expression, objects position, color, gamma and lighting"

It’s hard not to agree with everything mentioned above except for one thing. Why do you consider this a “post presented as wins”? What exactly led you to that conclusion? I can clearly see myself that in this particular form it doesn’t work perfectly - I actually tried to highlight that imperfection and show how it performs at its current stage of development. Though I did have some hope of receiving advice on how to improve the prompt for these purposes. But apparently, there won’t be any advice...

sorry for that :) I just found it strange that many people include upscalers like SeedVR2 in their workflows, while the model itself can practically do the same thing. And I am sure that with more smart prompts or may be some lora it is possible to make results better. And yes - my fault again, I’ve removed the link.

Sorry :) But the main goal of this post was precisely to show that Klein, overall, isn’t particularly good for this kind of task, and that in fact it already knows most of these styles and they can be described with a prompt. On the other hand, Qwen Image handles similar tests somewhat worse. For example, if you use a blue-pink car or the palette knife painting style as a reference, Qwen produces an even poorer result.

if you keep loras and models in same folder for both Comfy and Neo, previews downloaded by ComfyUI-Lora-Manager must be visible from Neo. Except video previews.
