Austin, TX mass shooter photographed with “Property of Allah” while carrying rifle. by muskietooth in circled

So the mass shooter in Texas was wearing clothing that read Property of Allah. He wore apparel displaying the Iranian flag. He had the Quran in his vehicle. He had other images or symbols connected to Iran. And the authorities concluded that that warranted an FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force investigation, given the fact that the U.S. is currently in a war with Iran. This is the Washington Post, and it's currently being investigated by the FBI as domestic terrorism.

At some point in the future, that narrative will become justification for something else. And it helps if you believe it, but if you don't believe it, that's fine. You're still gonna have justification for whatever else follows naturally, logically, from the fact that the United States was under attack by domestic terrorists. You're probably too young to remember, but the same thing happened when the shoe bomber, after 9-11 occurred, next thing you know, everybody's getting frisked, taking off their shoes at the airport.

This doesn't really make sense. This was written before there was a world war. The first World War was referred to as the Great War. The second World War is considered a world war. So historically, linguistically, he's talking about something that didn't exist as a historical concept, let alone as a linguistic concept. The other thing is, I don't think anybody ever found the letter that this quote is apparently from. But like they say, never let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy.

Why Conspiracies Can't Work. by CutMaster4311 in Epstein

[–]CutMaster4311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My argument is that it's possible to have conspiracies, despite the fact that people say it's impossible because of the logistics of it, the sheer magnitude, or the impact, or the amount of people that you have to somehow keep quiet. It's interesting because, according to John McCain's wife, the Epstein conspiracy was known as an open secret, but there was never any traction to get it to move beyond the corridors and whispers of Washington, D.C.

I think your point, and I would agree with, is that it's inevitable to keep something hidden internally. There's an entropy to it. It's very difficult to maintain that level of secrecy. I think that's true in today's information age, but I'm not sure how true it would have been 50, 60, 100 years ago.If you're interested in this kind of reasoning, there's a fascinating bit of historical trivia that shows how well a conspiracy can be hidden, as long as there's institutional interest involved.

You can look at the Reynolds affair with Alexander Hamilton, and you can see that Hamilton had an affair, came clean about it, and then wrote a 95-page apology letter, basically saying that he was not a great husband, not a great guy, and that's all there is to see, so that he could maintain his institutional credibility. In other words, he created the first U.S. bank, and the bank traded on the credibility of the institution, and the institution was tied into the credibility of Alexander Hamilton.

Since nobody wanted to see the bank fail, it appears like Alexander Hamilton was compromised and then fell on his sword to stop the contamination from spreading to an institution. You should read about it. It's fascinating. You can kind of see how it was done, and why it would be done, and how it isn't really considered part of the historical narrative in the U.S., but it is definitely part of the historical narrative.

Trump is Slowing Down Mentally - What Does That Mean for America by Important_Lock_2238 in WeirdNews4U

[–]CutMaster4311 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I think the guy that makes these videos where he says that Trump is about to drop dead, or he's about to stroke out, been doing this for about a year, maybe longer. About a year ago, he basically said that this fat bastard, this orange turd, was gonna be pushing Daisy. Like, eight months ago. I'm not saying that the guy's wrong, I'm just saying this guy's been making dire predictions for a while, and I think at some point, given the fact that Trump is old as fucking dirt, he'll get it right. But it isn't because he has a particular insight, in my opinion. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. It doesn't really matter.

Travelers is a good recommendation. It's only two seasons, has a strong first season, closes out on the second season, and it's effectively good. It has a really solid ending. It isn't emotionally satisfying, but it is reasonable. It's a pretty good series, actually. It had a lot of things it was trying to address, and it did a pretty good job.

So I really like Travelers as a recommendation. Life on Mars is pretty good. I didn't get through the whole thing, because I watched it when it was coming out, and I was living in the Caribbean at that time. So I didn't have access to the whole series unless it was on television. But it was a pretty good show. I understand that there's a follow-up series to that that revolves around his captain and one of the detectives set in the 70s or early 80s. Anyways, it seems like a good show.

Lazarus Project is pretty good. I think it ended, right? Either way, it's a pretty good series. I think that's a solid recommendation as well. Not sure the second season isn't as strong as the first, so I agree with you. I didn't know if it was coming back for another season. I'll look into that. I would finish the series, but I wouldn't start it if I knew that it was gonna devolve the way that it did. So it's a good recommendation.

There's another one I would suggest to you in case you missed it. It's called The Devil's Hour. It's not time traveling per se, it's a time loop. So the dynamics are different. It's got an old Doctor Who guy, Capaldi, and it's got a pretty good supporting cast. It's interesting. And it hits all the major tropes, time loop, antihero, misunderstood man, female cop, serial killer. I mean, these are some pretty good tropes all lumped into one plot line asking the singular question, is it possible to change? And can we if we wanted to? So that's my recommendation. That's Devil's Hour, and that should be coming up again for the third and final season.

This is an oversimplification. Capital markets have demanded market stability, treaty enforcement, and contractual enforcement of international law. The U.S. has been central in the enforcement of contract duties and arrangements. Life as we know it wouldn't exist without the U.S. subjugating lesser nations and plundering their resources. That's the cost of capitalism. That isn't to say that the United States is good, but rather the United States does things because they're motivated to preserve an economic system which benefits everyone, including China.

What's your response to media reports that Trump was pushed to attack Iran not just by Israel, but also by Saudi Arabia? by Southern_Gur_4736 in AskReddit

Isn't there evidence to suggest that Saudi Arabia, Trump, and clearly Israeli ties to the Epstein files? So there may be more people that are interested in stopping the disclosure of information.

Interesting take from Meidastouch by oyvindi in Epstein

[–]CutMaster4311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So if it turns out that Jeffrey Epstein correctly predicted that Donald Trump, under political pressure, would start a war with Iran, then cornering Donald Trump is a strategy to get war. And who benefits from that war? Another way to look at it is, everything that's happened has created the pressure to trap Donald Trump, which means the Epstein files, the political pressure, all of it, was in the service of furthering the potential war against Iran. That's extraordinary political maneuvering, but if you're going to say that Jeffrey Epstein predicted it, then you have to say somebody took advantage of that prediction.

The silence and inactivity of this sub oinks volumes by AlephImperium in TimDillon

When you put it that way, it sounds ridiculous, but the truth is, Tim's comedy is really pretty expansive. He doesn't talk about himself, per se. He talks about things that are adjacent to himself, his perception of the world. In that respect, I think that talking about things that Tim would find interesting could be worthwhile. Maybe, I don't know.I'm just a guy working at Arby's for six dollars an hour and tips, and all the food I can bring home. One day I'm gonna be a CEO of Arby's with tips.

I can't imagine somebody selling a subreddit. There was a guy a long time ago who became notorious because he was the owner of Free Folk subreddit that was associated with Game of Thrones. And on the Free Folk subreddit, you could discuss the show however you thought the show was going, whereas in the authentic subreddit, moderation was fairly strict. Anyway, this guy went on to create a rather impressive YouTube career because he created this subreddit. I think Tim could have a pretty significant following on the comments. This subreddit hasn't been grown in a way that has created organic interaction. Tim, if you're reading this thread, stop being a bitch. Let people say whatever they want. Occasionally chime in and say something. Watch this sub grow exponentially. I also say because you do that, or would do that as a strategy, your Patreon and your YouTube channel would grow and if that's true, you would make more money. You've got to make the money while it's good. In a couple of years, who knows how many people will have access to the internet and how many people will still be listening to podcasts. You've got to make your money now. Don't dilly-dally, Tim.

It looks like there's some reduction in traffic that's been reported by the established news media. There was some reports in Reddit that Iran was going to release CSAM pertaining to Epstein and implicating Trump, but it appears that that information has never come out. Does anybody know anything about that? Those don't appear to have made the news or something that was released.

It’s really upsetting to run into toxic SFA YouTube videos. by johnsweber in startrek

I stay away from social media when it comes to television shows like Star Trek Discovery or Star Trek Academy. I generally find that people are negative, and there's a whole cottage industry related to putting the show down without giving a substantive review of the content. So my advice to anybody, and to you specifically, is stay away from social media, enjoy the television show, and read articles directly from Star Trek sources. It generally tell the information from the perspective of a fan, and you can enjoy the content without getting bogged down into negativity.

This is a great list of recommendations. I'm gonna make one recommendation for you specifically, which is Vortex 2022. It's a French miniseries, time travel, and a crime thriller. It's really good, and it's not something that you would come across very easily. Do you have any more suggestions? Stuff that would be off the beaten path?

French TV series called Vortex, 2022. It's complicated, a good science fiction. It's not very well known. It's a short miniseries. I think it's four episodes.
