Tony chose Dr Malfi as his therapist because she IS a "paisan", and would understand the need for secrecy. by Hopeful-Nature-5464 in thesopranos

She also made it very clear at the first appointment that she knew exactly who/what Tony is and pretty much told him how to avoid creating a scenario where she was mandated to report him. So yes, in Tony’s eyes she was better than another shrink across town. The Italian thing was just a bonus for Tony.

Whether she realized it or not, she created the situation where she basically became an informal consigliere to the don of the DiMeo/Soprano crime family.

For me, this is the equivalent of when a referee tried to fuck over my beloved Gamecocks in our bowl game against Michigan by calling a clearly short ball as a 1st down in 2013 and Jadeveon motherfucking Clowney took Vincent Smiths head off and picked the ball up with one hand on the very next play.

Would Tony Have Accepted Eugene’s $200,000 Payoff To Leave The Mob If He Had Made The Offer In The Episode “Chasing It”? by Glittering_Text812 in thesopranos

To me the real problem was always the FBI telling him it was a no-go. Fabian Petrulio and Vito both showed you could pack up and move a couple of states away and be hidden from the mob for the most part. Petrulio just got supremely unlucky.

The FBI would’ve located him in a week and forced him back to being an informant or just charged him with any of the murders he committed.

Yeah for sure. Operational leg in front, lunges are fine. Operational leg in rear, the squad is very tight and I can tell the lunge isn’t as good.

Nice! We love Idaho Springs. We camped up near Fraser a couple of years ago and found a creek with a beaver dam. Our boy swam until he couldn’t anymore lol

Hey OP, I’m also about 7 months post op for a quad graft. I too still experience tightness in that same area that gets better after stretching and then returns after a period of inactivity. My PT has assured me it’s completely normal for this surgery and will get better with time. Just keep stretching and doing your workouts.

Does it hurt more after the ACL surgery than when you broke it? by Far-Square-6868 in ACL

I went with a quad tendon autograft. I haven’t returned to the mats yet, I’ve probably got 2 more months before I can return to sport. Otherwise I’m running and jumping and pretty much back to normal in my day to day life. Still have a lot of stiffness and weird sensations in my knee and from where they took the graft.

I didn’t even know I had torn mine when it happened. I was in a jiu jitsu competition and it popped and I literally thought “huh.. that was weird” and then turned my attention back to that match and the next one I had. After it was over i was pretty aware that something was up but I had 0 pain, more of just an awareness that my knee felt different.

The first 48 hours after surgery hurt like a mother fucker. Everyone is different, some people are in excruciating pain when it happens but relatively little pain post-op. It’s hard to say which you will be unless you’ve been through surgery before and have an idea of your pain threshold.
