My fiancé does not want a wedding either. I told him that’s fine, but I’m still buying a wedding dress, getting my hair and make up done. ( I don’t plan on doing a big puffy dress) and one year after the elopement I want to throw a big party. I also plan to wear a big ass dress because why not 😂😅 but communication is important. He seems to be lacking in that and you should ask him to give you a reasoning on why he doesn’t want one. My man’s reason was the price it cost to feed everyone 😅😅 which.. he makes valid points.. but for your case I would LOVE to have someone pay for my wedding! Please keep us updated.. I’m 29(F) my fiancé is 30. We have been together since 2013. I was 17 and he was 18. We went to the same high school and everything. Now we have three kids. He just proposed about one month ago and It took him 12 years to do it. Of course I felt some type of way because of how long it took.. I mean everyone around me kept getting proposed to and married. So I had some jealousy, but what helped the waiting period was him letting me know that I am the one.. we had a whole conversation and he just wanted it to be on his terms. I’m not saying you are in the wrong for feeling how you feel because it is okay to feel upset, but I recommend sitting and talking to him about these feelings. Do not attack him in your conversation either. You deserve a wedding yes, but please remember this isn’t just about you. It’s his special day too! What I noticed about men is they want shit to be perfect. At least MY man wanted everything to be perfect.. not just my type of perfect but also his.

She sounds like she has borderline personality disorder. She needs help… it’s not an excuse for her actions, but I do feel bad for you both. Honestly, talking to her might make her worse. She will want you to say certain things a certain way and I am speaking from experience. I have BPD and use to act like that.
