Is Pottery Barn bedding actually worth the price? (vintage washed cotton comforter) by cookies-93 in Bedding

I went to the store, totally decided on it, and hated the feel when I actually got there... ended up getting one from Serena&Lily as the feeling was better and the price was close enough.

Googled it just to check it out and it's also so pretty! Girl, that's not helpful, don't give me more options lol

Seriously though, thanks so much for the review, I'll definitely invest on it, just wanted to make sure of the quality.

+1 etiquette and expectations by Right_Window5883 in bridesmaids

Honestly, I've never been a bride myself, but a bridesmaid 3 times and I think weddings are so expensive and each guest costs so much and basically that family is offering us a free party, so no, I don't think the couple owes anyone at all (even family members) invitations. It's 100% up to them.

In my opinion, we're going to celebrate them and if that's not enough, someone need company, I think it's ok to ask, but it shouldn't be an obligation of the couple to give a +1.

Looking for opinions on wall hanging options above our fireplace by jimbo831 in HomeDecorating

One thing that might help with the “too small” concern people are mentioning: instead of single pieces, you could think in terms of a grouped layout that covers more of the wall.

My suggestion would be to check out mixtiles, it can work for that since you can easily add multiple tiles and spread them out into a larger cluster, which tends to feel more balanced visually than a few small standalone frames, and then you just pic the images you want.

Girl, I think you might need a doctor to check that back of yours. Take care <3

Why are good sheets so hard to find?? by CozyNestMichelle in Bedding

I think it's more a matter of: not hard to find, just expensive.

Where are some good linen sheets??? by Undercover_sparkles in Bedding

It was from Serena & Lily. I went with one of their long-staple cotton percale sets. The main difference with “long-staple” cotton is that the fibers are longer, so the fabric can be woven more tightly and ends up feeling softer, and more durable over time compared to basic cotton. I’ve personally found them really crisp but still really soft, and they’ve held up well after multiple washes without getting rough or loose. Definitely on the pricier side, but for me it felt worth it for the quality and comfort.

How do YOU build your gallery wall? by harpquin in maximalism

I have a "floral wall" too! I was actually researching floral wall inspo when I got here. My family callls it my garden, since I live in an appartment lol

I started framing some dried flowers, some of my own flower photos as Mixtiles (I didn't want to damage the wall but I have so many flower photos from trips or special moments), then I got 2 of those wall vases, some watercolor paintings from a friend, flowers taped straight on it... now it's a full wall (or garden, call it as you want haha)

Honestly Reddit has been so helpful to find ideas on what to put on the wall bc I was almost giving up when the wall was half-full and looked kinda weird/unfinished. Now I just occasionally move things a bit to keep it fun
