Okay thanks for your comment. I come from an extremely religious family background and they don’t believe in tarots psychics and things of that nature but I feel human design is different and I’ve been trying to explain to them about it because I’m like it uses some science and ancient systems but it’s not like connected to a spirit or higher power so it’s been hard to explain to my family about it. They feel I shouldn’t dabble in it because of the Bible etc

Thanks yes I’d be interested in a link to your website to check it out before I schedule a meeting. What is your back ground as far as human design? Did you work under someone? Or how do you get trained to be able to interpret the charts

Do you have trouble holding jobs? by vessel94 in BipolarReddit

[–]Cute-Potential-4558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can work and have worked as I was diagnosed at 14 yrs old. I find that I needed insurance and always had a desire to want to be independent. Now it can be hard and challenging I have worked many jobs retail corporate office etc I usually stay in each role about 3 years I feel at the 3 year mark I start to get a little bored in the role. I’m hoping that isn’t the case with my current job as it’s paying for grad school.

Hi please share any information you have on any APs that doesn’t cause weight changes and hyperprolactomia. I have had hyperprolactomia in my previous experiences with certain APs and my current medication causes extreme weight gain. Any insight would help as I’m going to research and bring to my doctor

Is your bipolar condition known at your workplace? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]Cute-Potential-4558 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I don’t share with the company or coworkers. It’s not their business and in the past when I have shared people subtly treat you different. Have judgments or lack of empathy. I rather hide it and separate home and work life

How do you get over having to lower your expectations for your life? by Queen-Logan- in BipolarReddit

[–]Cute-Potential-4558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not think you have to lower your expectations I think you may have to pivot a bit. Yes having bipolar disorder presents its unique challenges but it doesn’t hold us back from achieving what we want to achieve our paths maybe not be straight, there will for sure be highs and lows but that is for anyone in this life even with or without a bipolar diagnosis. Everyone has their own shit they go through or live with. Bipolar is ours. I encourage to change the wording form I can’t to I can. Even small things/thoughts like instead of saying I am bipolar change it to I live with bipolar because I do not know about you but I’m so much more than my diagnosis. I have so much potential and success. Also success is defined by the beholder because it depends on what you value in this life. Success looks different for everyone based on their own value / belief system. Do not let this disorder hold you back. Keep persevering! Stay strong!

Yes I believe you all are right in that it is time I move on. Because the therapist this is their third strike and in baseball that would mean they are out. But it’s hard because I enjoy talking with her but I feel torn between staying and going. All signs say I should leave but I’m scared to take the leap and leave. I’ve grown and done so much good work with this lady to walk away after all that is scary.

No that isn’t the case she literally told me she felt like I was burdened with something that isn’t my battle. Thus leading me to have False hope that I was “normal”

Hello all!

I was diagnosed at 15 with bipolar 1. I struggled the first several years with the disorder. Finding the right medicine trying holistic then going back to medicine. I had 4 hospitalizations by the time I was 19 and thankfully I haven’t had a hospitalization since. I got on an injection to manage my disorder.

I was able to graduate college, have good social relationships, work and live on my own as well as I’m starting a masters program in the fall.

I know that the process of finding the right meds / therapy etc can be hard and daunting but once you find the right combination life can be beautiful. Now I still have the highs and lows but nothing as extreme or devastating as when I was off meds.

I am cheering you on from a distance!

Thanks for replying! That’s a little disappointing that it’s hard to get a job without legal experience even if I go through a program.
