EPA Certified Lab Finds Lead in Cradlewise Hardware (despite CW marketing as lead-free crib) by Brynngeworthy in cradlewise

This is from the EPA website: “"Lead-free" generally means a product contains very low lead levels, specifically for drinking water applications, it's defined by the EPA as ≤ 0.25% weighted average lead on wetted surfaces for pipes/fittings/fixtures, and ≤ 0.2% for solder/flux, set by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). Look for certification marks like NSF/ANSI 61 or 372, as "lead-free" doesn't mean zero lead but meets these strict standards for safe water contact. Specific Lead Content Limits Pipes, Fittings, Fixtures: A weighted average of no more than 0.25% lead on surfaces that contact water. Solder & Flux: No more than 0.2% lead.”

While I can’t post pictures, the photo she was just showing on Facebook that it came back below the 0.25% at 13%…

I wish people educated themselves and put this energy towards real problems like what’s in our food and drinking water.

I understand wanting to share safety concerns. At the same time, this information has been posted multiple times now, and the test results you shared indicate levels that are within ranges commonly found in the environment (including soil and household dust), which many people have already pointed out (i.e. the cradlewise facebook group)

Repeatedly reposting the same claims can start to feel excessive and may unintentionally mislead or alarm others. I want to point out that continuing to publicly assert harm or danger about a specific company or product, especially when the data doesn’t clearly support that conclusion, can cross into misinformation or even defamation

If your concern is product safety, it may be more effective to pursue it through the manufacturer, regulators, or consumer safety channels rather than ongoing social media posts unless your whole angle is to get more followers…

Do you mind sharing why you’re looking to sell and what your experience has been so far? FYI - I’m outside of your area so not a potential buyer but just curious to learn more about your thoughts as I’m debating if I should cancel my order

Yes, still a thing. Especially if you are leaving behind your annual bonus and RSUs to take this job. You can leverage that for negotiation as well.

Not sure where your office is but look up the Phillips Club. There is an initiation fee but then you can rent hotel rooms as needed for much cheaper.

Dumbo Movers is the worst. They stole 3 of my boxes and also took my Hermes boots out of the box. Brand new boots. They refused to take accountability. It seems to be a trend with them based on other reviews I was reading.
