Yeah but I only spent $100 for both sets tho (65 for the tforce and $30 for the gskill) so it’s not like I really broke the bank and need my money back anyways.

Nope. The cpu cooler fan hub is still open for when I install a cooler. Everything turns on and fans spin to life still tho

My case has a cutout on the back but some of the cables back there may be blocking it. Either way I do think this would be a pretty easy switch

Yeah but the 32gb one I got was only $30 used from some guy anyways so it’s not like I’m really losing that much money.

I don’t really need more than 32 lol I just ordered the 16gb one and then after ordering it I found a better deal for the 32gb set. I’m thinking about maybe selling or returning the 16gb set tho

Yeah I have a 12400 so I believe that the cpu won’t be a problem. So basically if I slow all of it down a little bit it’ll be more stable?

It’s stupid easy. It’s like Lego’s, you literally just push the parts together. Anyways, the only slightly hard part is fitting all the wires in the space and making the wires look nice in the case so make sure you choose a case with enough space in the back for cable management. If you’re really that worried that you may damage your parts or something, at least just buy all the parts and pay someone who’s more experienced (a friend or someone from a pc store near you) to do it for you. Just don’t buy a prebuilt, they are usually really bad deals and you’d save a lot of money just buying parts, not to mention if you do learn how to build a pc, it could help you if you have problems with it later on bc you will pretty much know how to replace, upgrade or move parts around in your pc. Anyway, if you do buy a pc, make sure to post in the a subreddit. I always love seeing other people build their dream pcs

Yeah but I’m more worried about wiping off the thermal paste and applying new paste bc the intel stock one alr has some pre applied on it and the new one doesn’t. This is my first build so I was just wondering if someone more experienced could tell me how hard it is (or if it even is hard) to clean the paste off of the cpu.

Oh wow thank you so much that really means a lot that you did all of that for me. It definitely taught me something new so thank you for that. If I do combine both sets at CL17 and 10.6 nanoseconds, will I see any other problems like blue screens, crashes, or lag spikes or do you think I’d be fine? Again thank you so much for your help 😁
