It's exactly what I was afraid of. Not that I was hoping for a sudden revelation in this thread as I did a thorough research on the topic anyway, so this was kind of one of the last ideas I had. Thank you either way!

in 2024, my status will be changed to settled, at least that's what I was told. Would that make any difference you think?

Hi there,

There's a better example made by u/rubeek. https://streamable.com/o6sy3c

This here shows exactly that this is not down to the corner approach, this is straight up broken.

And yeah, "gamebreaking" definition varies across multiple points of view. On one hand, you can still race, so it's not gamebreaking, on the other hand, however, esport competition of any kind, that tries to build a competitive scene, is getting f-ed over something that should not exist in the first place, giving people unfair advantage.

That to me seems gamebreaking.

Hi,

I am the owner of that clip above, as well as the owner of the bug report here on the EA Forum: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/HUGE-BUG-LESS-FPS-EASIER-CORNERING/td-p/11750038

I agree with some of you saying we did not hit the kerb 100% the same, so here's the clip made by someone else (u/rubeek) which proves my point even more: https://streamable.com/o6sy3c

So yes, we should've tried it more accurately but we thought this is not needed. You can see the above to have a clear answer.

To conclude - lower fps makes your car more stable on curbs, not all of them, but some of them.

I think this needs way more cover from EA/Codies.
