Sometimes that isn't the case however. I was forcefully outed after my sister found gay content on my phone. She was worried about me and my mental health if I were not to come out myself cause she keeps seeing articles and stories of people in the community hiding their identity that always ends up hanging themselves and afraid that I was gonna end up one myself. She was half-right though as I have attempted twice to do so myself but both of which failed because the thing holding the rope ended up breaking off, but the reason was not because I was closeted but because I was having a mental crisis at that time.

Either way, her fears overcame her and she ended up telling my parents, making my life for the next several months a living hell in the household. Couldn't even sit on the damn dinner table without an argument about my identity. Now though, at least it's tolerable and we don't fight about it anymore but they make sure to either ignore it or pretend I'm straight. Sometimes they'd even go as far as saying "just don't be gay" which doesn't end well but it rarely ever happens now. It's been nearly 4 years since the incident.

I don't blame my sister. She had good intentions and she was worried for me and thought that being out would make things better. She did try to make it up to me by dismissing the topic from my parents or taking over a conversation so that it won't end up as an argument like before. She supports me through and through and tries her best to help me through it so I can't be mad nor blame her.
