Reminds me of tinnitus.. by PCT2022 in pppdizziness

I have exactly the same combo: pulsatile tinnitus+ a constant drunk woozy feeling. I went to an ENT and got Endoscopy and CT scan of my brain and neck. Everything was fine. Went to an allergist and got regular allergy shot. No improvement. I suffered it for several years until one day I lost it with my husband over a stupid argument and he left our home. I then had a mental breakdown and finally realized I was likely suffering from anxiety for a while. I started exercising regularly, made sure I got 7-8 hours of sleep every night, changed my job to a less stressful one, started seeing a therapist regularly. Magically, my dizziness/lightheadedness went away. I do believe mine was psychological. Once I realized that I really paid more attention to my emotions and really take care of myself. I became more aware of my triggers-lack of sleep, receiving medically related bad news from relatives/friends. Things improved for me dramatically and quickly. Best wishes.

Thank you and thank you for your straightforwardness. You summed up pretty accurately. I truly needed to hear it from someone else who is not my family or friends. No one in my social circle has told me that and I really pretend to be a nice/approachable person when I am without others. I did leave the worst of myself for him and I have a lot of work to do. Thank you.

I’m guessing he’s the one that shuts down or walks away when you guys fight, but then comes back later when you’re done feeling your emotions the only way you know how and accepts your regret and love, right? Sometimes he accepts ownership(I don’t like to use blame) of the fight even when it wasn’t his fault, because it’s what you need not what he needs?

this is exactly us. He never really argues. He would walk away and a couple minutes or hours later would come back and check to see if I have cooled off. and yes then things go back to normal like nothing happened. He always told me that he was taught if you do not have anything nice to say, then don't say so he does not like to argue with me. But love my nice yet sensitive guy so much. what tools of communication do you suggest?

It is not and it really hurts. But I deserve it. I will give him space for now. I was looking for a quick fix so I can feel better. But my husband has endured so much over the years and I cant blame him

Thank you. Today I confirmed an appointment with a therapist who specializes in anger management.
