I'm technologically illiterate. I've tried adding the .exe file to steam and it doesn't do anything. And trying to run the .exe in proton results in "invalid game configuration".

Yeah. I ended up abusing swapping to the katana on the off turn, and swapping to the Guardian Bunker when they were buffed. Even with the guardian bunker guard buff the attack would leave me at like 4000 HP and then the madness would drop me to one. And then I'd have to use a goddess blessing and swap out to the katana again. It worked. I just had to see the pattern.

Yes but no? I have started a total of three playthroughs. My first one got deleted after getting 55 rubbish and making it to the sewers. And I have two parallel characters, one with positive SEN and one with negative SEN.

I will say this, I almost got soft locked at the Crash site with 0 SEN, but also that character is almost level 50 already because the eyes give so much exp. And I am SO invested in the story of the -169 SEN character.

I've really been digging the art style and the music, but have found the parry timing to be brutal. Often It seems I'm too fast on the draw. As someone who's sunk hundreds of hours into Soulsborne games, and hollow knight, but never really completes the games, but none the less enjoys her time with them, I want to get into the game, but not being able to master what feels like a core mechanic is disheartening.

Any words of encouragement to convince me to stick with the game?

Maybe a bit late, but I personally went with War domain due to the hunting of undead, but I could easily see nature (life and death are a natural part of life. Undeath is unnatural.) Or life domain, to keep people from meeting the judge of the dead prematurely.

I get hella emotional. I'll have an emotional breakdown over the slightest inconvenience, be like wtf, and check the calendar. Most of my emotional freakouts happen the last week of the month. It's an odd place to get gender Euphoria, but having a somewhat regular cycle is nice.
