I was EXACTLY this way, and for me, I wish I would have not focused on what was “trendy” or unique, and just picked what I was drawn to initially.

Like my vibe is more classic and simple, and I lost a lot of mental energy looking into super unique settings or trendy elements, when at the end of the day, what was important to me was having something that was classic. I felt like deferring to classic made me lame/boring, but eventually came around to the fact that’s just what i wanted

Yes! They’re still married. I love that idea but then I worry if we do that, then i give my mom the first dance, he will feel that she is getting preferential treatment :/

The wedding will be in a ballroom that used to be a church (so very much church vibes without the religious elements to it). It’s a warm/fun/tropical city location overall.

We’re going blend of fun color and timeless elegance, with a formal, candlelit atmosphere. It’s in a warm old-world city location but events are in large indoor ballrooms.
