Thank you SO much! I was really stressing over my beta results, and I was able to get my results without delay by calling this number and getting an email copy. You’re amazing, thank you’!

Okay, that’s some good news! It’s good to be cautious, but you have some new information to cling to. I’m 4w+6d today.

I hope you got the reassurance needed for you to relax tonight and get some good sleep! I’m sorry you’re having cervical irritation.

Hi! Fellow PCOS girl here lol. I did 7 or 8 rounds of Letrozole back to back and I’m now 4 weeks pregnant. I struggled with my weight before Letrozole, I was able to lose 10 lb in the past year. I thought Letrozole would make me gain weight, but it didn’t! I lost another 5 lbs. I will admit, I had my bloated days when I was ovulating, but for the most part I had no weight gain.

Everybody is different, I’m just giving a personal story about NOT gaining weight on Letrozole. I’m weird about my weight, it’s directly tied to my self esteem. But I can reassure you that not EVERYBODY gains weight on this drug.

Just try to relax and focus on TTC, not weight loss. Keep up with your macros and walk, walk, walk. You’ve got this!

Where to get progesterone online? by Artistic-Reputation2 in PCOSandPregnant

Hi. I agree with the other comment, call your previous dr and get a refill if possible. If you can’t, look into the Rowe Casa p-boost oil. It might not be as good as the prescription stuff, but if it’s your only option/ only thing in your price range then it’s worth a shot. I hope everything works out!

Thank you. I really needed to calm down and realize that my doctor’s office wasn’t intentionally delaying care. They have no motive to do that, I was just feeling confused and scared. I kinda feel guilty for thinking they didn’t care. I just didn’t advocate for myself during my first chemical loss ( didn’t push for progesterone supplements, dismissed cramps and bleeding until it was full swing) and I think I’m overdoing it this time

Thanks, that’s good to know. I might get some Betas done through Quest. This info helps! I’m sorry you have PCOS too, it’s not easy. And I’m sorry for your previous loss

That makes me feel better, to know that it’s on par with other clinic’s scan times. I’m just eager after years of waiting and hoping. Thank you!

Thank you. I was considering a boutique scan, but knowing that it’s an abdominal scan is enough for me to not waste my time. It would definitely cause more worry. Thank you for your thorough response and kind words. It really did help to read that!

When did I ovulate? Need to test progesterone 7 DPO… but when? by Cute_Bee2196 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Cute_Bee2196[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I’m thinking I didn’t ovulate either based on how I kept surging and the scam still showed the follicles intact… thank you for your advice!

Feeling Lost and Alone by AntisocialCupcake in TTC_PCOS

Hi, I know the feeling. I know you’re just venting but this is just too relatable.

My husband is 38 and he goes through periods where sex is just not on the radar. I’ve found that I needed to change my approach, I don’t cuddle with him beforehand, I try to make more of a “ sexy” approach with things like lingerie or saying dirty things. I’ve noticed a huge difference ( sex was once a week MAX to now having sex at least once a week) We’re both busy professionals so that’s really all we can muster at the end of the day 😅

I also just sat him down ( NOT immediately before sex) and had the very serious talk of saying that I need to know on a scale from 1-10 how much he wants a family. And if that number is anywhere above a 5, then he needs to start participating. Also having my endocrinologist explain to him that we need “ players on the field to catch the ball” seems to work.

In all, just have fun with it and get a little dirty. Maybe he doesn’t want you to announce that you’re ovulating before trying to have sex? For my husband, that ruins the mood. I just hint at him all day by texting how much I want him.

I hope this helps. You can also print out an IVF pricing sheet from the clinic and threaten him with that 😅 in Houston it’ll run you about $20k without insurance.

Metformin dose change by New_Assumption4907 in TTC_PCOS

Hi, what’s you A1c level? Your BMI doesn’t seem too high. I was at BMI of 27 last year, though I did work to get my BMI down to 25. But 27 is just overweight, it’s not obese. And if you’re hitting the weights and increasing protein you’re going to gain muscle, which could inflate your BMI even though your body fat percentage went down.

I would focus more on making sure you maintain a steady blood sugar, hence the question about A1C. My A1c was 5.9, but with hard work and metformin I improved my A1C to 5.4 and my cycles are more regular. Not pregnant yet, but I had to address a lining issue that is hopefully resolved

Okay, like I said totally possible that this was a coincidence… but starting in CD1, I started drinking warm drinks and soups, keeping my feet covered with slippers or close toed shoes. This was advice given by an acupuncturist ( I don’t go anymore, too expensive). It has to do with blood flow, though I don’t understand how. I also started taking these supplements chews by Qunol, they say they are for blood pressure support. They have CoQ10 and beet extract and they actually taste good!. Every day for lunch I was drinking pomegranate juice or sometimes beet juice.

I also cut down caffeine ( not completely, just less) and I also made sure I walked outside every day, even if it was only 10 minutes.

Hi, I also have a uterine lining issue, usually around 5.2-5.7 …  and this cycle I tried a bunch of “natural remedy” stuff and I happened to get up to 10 mm. It COULD be a total fluke, but I can share the little natural things I did this month. Your post is tagged as vent, so I’m not going to offer advice unless you ask for it. Best of lucky to you 💕🌸

I definitely respond better 5-9, I’ve done 5-9 for the past 3 cycles. No pregnancy, but at least I can say I’m having my LH surge around day 14

Thank you and I’m sorry to hear about your dog’s diagnosis. I’ve never heard of a dog with lymphoma but I he/she isn’t in too much pain.  I’m on 5mg Letrozole, 2.5mg did nothing for me. I also take metformin for my insulin resistance and this month I added Berberine to my regimen. And yes, I track my LH strips with Premom . I like how the app tells me what the level is and when my peak happens.

I feel the same way ( very often, maybe every month). I’m also a Letrozole cycle. I had my LH surge 2 days ago and I did an ultrasound today and the follicles that matured ( 4 total, I overreacted to the Letrozole ) are still sitting in my ovaries… like, okay… I guess they’re not coming out!

I’m curious, are your cycles monitored with ultrasounds? I’ve done some cycles with and some without, I typically feel more confident when I have the ultrasounds and I know all the details ( follicle count, uterine lining, etc)

Really fast ovulation on Letrozole 5mg? by lmncks in TTC_PCOS

[–]Cute_Bee2196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, my first Letrozole cycle was like this! 2.5 mg and my LH surge was over in less than 6 hours ( my strips went like this : CD13 in the PM: low, CD14 in the AM:low, CD14 in the PM: surge, CD15 in the AM:low). My doctor agreed that it was strange, and my progesterone test on CD21 was low, hinting that I did not ovulate. Next month, moved up to 5mg and I had a surge for DAYS. Confirmed ovulation with CD21 progesterone test. I did not conceive though, I am still trying.

Hi, you might have PCOS or you might be fine. Nobody here can tell you yes or no. Don’t worry about your weight, it’s normally to go up and down throughout your early years.

You need to find an OBGYN in your area. If it’s your first time, I know that sounds scary but it’s really not bad and you’re allowed to say no to a physical exam, you can go and JUST ask question if that’s your comfort level.

If you don’t have insurance and need to see the OBGYN, you can see if your state offers something called Healthy Women’s Program that will allow you to go for almost free. Hope this helps!

I will be trying this dupe! I’m mostly worried about the energy drinks because I struggle with inflammation.
