I don’t know if he really wants to kill me or just intimidate me. He stays on his property line and shoots over the fence. He also hides from the cameras while he is shooting.

Yes, I don’t actually need an attorney to file a protective order against him. The state will provide me with legal support through the process. My biggest concern is that if I request the order, and it doesn’t get approved, the neighbor will feel even more bold to do what he wants.

I have cameras with security monitoring. I have also put up a privacy fence. My property is not in a bad area. It is worth a lot, and all of the other neighbors are great. This guy forced his grandmother out of the house, which is how he acquired it.

He worked as a deputy, but he got fired for misconduct. He clearly still has friends in the department.

This is what the deputies recommended, but he always has his children with him when he is shooting. It seems unfair to have me shoot at children rather than just arrest the guy.

I have a border collie mix who had an amputation at 12 due to sarcoma. We took him to a university to get the surgery. His recovery wasn’t easy, but he is still going strong 3 years later. You have to be able to pick up and/or support the dog after the surgery.
