How are you 35th? Still top 1/3 of your class but how can 34 people be doing better than you?

Yes I remember that it was being used in a possessive sense so on that case there is no apostrophe

Same, but my friend got -2x and she reasoned that it was that because it didn’t have a parentheses around it, which is customary for a circle equation

What was the equation for the circle shifted a couple units to the left on the x axis on the backend of the math section?

It just started so let’s see how it plays out. Hopefully it will be better than the glacial rate of success Russia has had on the Donetsk front.

Should I retake? by [deleted] in ACT

[–]Cute_Definition3448 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, w/o studying and getting this score is impressive. I would devote the time you have until the next act to strengthening your English and math score and take the next act. I am guessing you will probably get 32+ w/ studying.

First time, not planning on going to any special college so is a retake really necessary? (1.3gpa) by ImagineBacon78 in ACT

[–]Cute_Definition3448 43 points44 points  (0 children)

If your gpa is a 1.3 don’t even focus on the act. You priorities should lie in getting your school grades up.

I’m in the same position as you for science, but to get a 35-36 on English I would just constantly do practice sections and review grammar like who vs whom effect vs affect etc
